Hello! :D

What level of excitement are you at today on a scale of one to ten??

Orson only cancelled, because their want to tour together with Robbie Williams. :dozey: Hm ok, still Arctic Monkeys and Muse, but their performances are not sure. The Arctics still have a problem to find a new Bass player and Muse cancelled some gigs as well, for example "Rock am Ring"...

Hm, I guess I would get an attack if Mando Diao, Wir sind Helden or the Cardigans would cancel their performances... :(

Hamster survives industrial shredder

A hamster escaped virtually unscathed after passing through an industrial shredder.

The creature is thought to have found its way into a skip of rubbish that arrived at a recycling plant in Flintshire, north Wales.

He passed along a conveyor belt and then through a giant shredder, which can tear a cooker or washing machine to pieces in seconds.

He then survived a rotating drum and vibrating grids before he was discovered in a sorting area by astonished staff, who named him Mike.

The ordeal, which probably lasted around four minutes, left the rodent with nothing more than a sore foot.

He was enjoying a new life today with 10-year-old Liam Bull, whose father Craig works in the Recyclo plant in Sandycroft.

Liam said: "I can't believe he's still alive after what happened, but he's doing fine now."

The plant's general manager, Tony Williams, said: "We deal with 300 to 400 tons of dry waste a day from all over Cheshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.

"Some of the material is shredded and then goes through a series of conveyor belts and grids that enable smaller pieces of waste to fall through.

"It seems that the hamster was small enough to pass through the blades of the shredder, but big enough to pass along the trammel without falling through an aperture. "We don't get very much animal activity here, but we're delighted Mike survived and is now being cared for."

Lucky animal! :nice:

So, what are you guys doing at this loooong weekend? Any plans?

Nothing for me...relaxing after a mad week!

Tommorrow working....

next week...getting hyped/

Awww lol that's so funny!

I went shopping this morning, then chilling out the rest of today, then going out tonight to a friends, she's having a house party.

Why are speaking about a "mad" week? You mean your efforts for your artist work?

By the way, I saw your pictures this morning here and wow... I'm speechless! It's really wonderul! I made out your picture where someone is surfing! :nice:

I also noticed some weird things... you're writing rucsac instead of rucksack or tommorrow instead of tomorrow. Is it a kind of Southern English dialect? :) Then, maybe it's better making holidays in Ireland than in UK. :P

Oh Steph, that sounds nice! :) My friend has his birthday today, so we are going out this evening.

Yeah...my artwork. Finishing it all for Friday! :nice:

....and those are probably spelling mistakes!! Im writing too fast and miss of letters/add letters, lol. :embarassed: Although different people write rucsac/rucksack differently.

thanks for the compliment!!

Its such a nice day here today....blue skies

Not too bad here, either - could best be described as "hazy".

Steph, no, we will go to Oldenburg, then want to eat something and later we will search a nice disco. ^^

Wow Kara, that looks sooo green! Is it your garden? Here, it's also sunny today, but there are some clouds either. But it's very warm, so maybe I will running. ^^

Hm ok, I thought it could be a kind of dialect. Rucksack is a German word by the way. :)

"Rucksack" is the official spelling, Lars, as the word is indeed of German origin. Accept no substitute!!

:P I really like your garden. Are you living in Brighton or in a suburb of it?

Hope you have a nice time tonight Lars! :)

It's beautiful here too Kara! It was so nice driving into town earlier with the windows down and Coldplay blaring! hehe

Im gonna go take some pics :nice: brb

Juhu, I can't get enough of pics! :) Thanks Steph, I hope you'll have a lot of fun at the houseparty as well.

Yesterday, after finishing work I had the windows down and was driving through the city. I really like it. ^^

I hope you didn't have techno or awful German music blasting out as you were doing so!!:P

Yeah, it feels great doesn't it!

Its funny, everything in the world seems so much nicer when the sun is shining! :nice:

Pics on their way

No techno, but German music. I was listening to Beatsteak's "Smack Smash" record again. :wink3:

Steph can't wait to see the pics!

Mark, ARD just began their England-Jamaica broadcast. :nice: Nice weather in Manchester! And Premiere will show this game either, lol.
