Take away Ace Of Base from that list and it's pretty good. Although I don't like Abba to much either.

And btw, so is German music!

gosh! Don't worry Therese... I'm sure he is fine! Nevertheless that was a bad coincidence!

Lars: true... but the attacks in Madrid were intentionally and that was what scared me the most!

You don't like Ace Of Base? I grew up listening to Roxette and Ace Of Base! :D Especially Roxette is wonderful! "Listen To Your Heart" and "Fading Like A Flower" are so sad and in the same way amazing! :( ;)

Hm, German music never had a big success in other nations, except Rammstein. I remember that Nena had a number 1 song in the US during the 80's but that's it! ;) But since 2000 German music completely changed. So many new bands (Juli, Silbermond, Wir sind Helden, Tomte, Kettcar, Madsen) were singing in German again! It wasn't cool during the 90's. :)

I think he is, his family probablly would have called otherwise. Guess I'll see on Thursday, he usually calls then.

No, I hate Ace Of Base :laugh3: It's kinda funny how everybody knows Sweden for Abba and Roxette. And yeah, 'Listen to your heart' is just beautiful :)

Yeah, I really like Silbermond (thanks to flo ;)) and Wir sind helden, and Kraftwerk off course. And Einstürzende Neubauten :)

Hey burningmonk, I like your avi and your signature! :) Why are you supporting Germany? Scorpions are coming from Hannover. Their music is good and I especially like "Wind Of Change". But they've only English songs I guess. ;)

Sure, I forgot Kraftwerk who are very successful outside Germany. :) At the moment I really like Wir sind Helden, Beatsteaks, die Ärzte and Tomte.

I love Germany. Very interesting country and it always looks exciting there too :)

The people also are very nice. That's why I'm supporting them :nice:

Scorpions came here last year, but I didn't know I liked them then

Ypu can call me Mo if you like

Tomte? There's a band called that? :stunned: :laugh3: That's the Swedish word for Santa Claus :laugh3: LMAO!

Thanks for the words Mo! :) It's nice to hear that somebody is loving my country! That's not very often! :D

Hehe Tomte means Santa Claus??? Hm maybe it was their intention. It's an indie band, coming from Hamburg. You can listen to the new album here...

I especially adore "Ich sang die ganze Zeit von Dr", "New York", "Walter & Gail" and "Norden der Welt". :nice:

Haha that would be kinda funny if they knew what it means in Sweden :laugh3:

Thanks for the link!

Hehe you're welcome!

They were so great at the festival, personally after Mando Diao the best performance! :) The singer was very funny.

Ah, only a few days until you'll meet Flo, right? ^^ Where exactly do you live? Was it near Stockholm or Helsingborg? I forgot it, sry! ;)

Wow, I really like this band! Hope they have the album here (:

Yeah, 21 days left :) Neither, I live about 5 minutes outside Gothenburg, it's on the west coast.

Hehe, nice to hear that you like their music. ;) In August, they are touring outside Germany, for example in London and Amsterdam...

21 days left... :nice: I wish you both the best! It must be incredible! Hope Flo and you will take a lot of pictures. :) Ah near Göteborg, ok! I always thought you were living near Stockholm lol.

Hehe I'm sure we will (:

You did, why? Apperantly I talk like I'm from Stockholm quite often which is wierd seeing I've only been there once :laugh3:

I don't know why I thought you're living near Stockholm! :D Crazy!

Hey Ophélie, back from the Seine? ^^

Hey Flo! :)

So was it good Ophélie? ^^

Hui, I was in the garden and suddenly I saw a shooting star! :) Reminds me of the festival... one night we saw at least 10 of them. :nice:

Did you make a wish Lars ? :nice:

Yeah, it was nice, but I feel a bit strange.. all the stress I kept inside of me finally goes out and it feels weird. Such a tough year.

Therese, my graduation is a relief, so I'm quite good :)

You ? :)

Sure, I had a wish... :nice:

I'm so happy for you! So now you're definitely go to London? :)

Oh, you've graduated now? YAY

I'm great, lving summer :)

What was the wish about ? Don't tell exactly your wish, but what it's about

I'm waiting for the forms, for informations about a shared flat and all that stuff... and when everything will be done and OK, then it will be sure ;) But I think I'll be really sure at the end of August...

Therese, yes, I am ! :) Got my results this morning... I obtained a great overall with a compliment from the jury, "Fairly good" :)

See, I told you you would make it :) I'm so happy for you!
