anyone here?? gah, i'm so bored

heeeyy kara! :) it's been a while...

it's going quite okay, thanks! my semester break started a week ago and i'm trying really hard not to think about uni, although there still is so much work to do  but at the moment i would rather like to pack my things and travel somewhere nice, hehe...

and how are you? :)

What are you studying again?

I have summer projects to do as well :\ can't be bothered..... especially when it's great weather outside.

Are you going on holiday at all?

I'm not too bad! I have been visiting the park with friends a lot to enjoy the sunny evenings :nice:

ehm, i'd tell you, if i knew what it was called in english ^^ let's say i'm studying pedagogics, but i won't be a teacher, so it's more like educational science ;) i wanna be an educational counsellor, if that's the word when you wanna help young people and families ;) god, my english has become horrible since i left school and don't speak it anymore, sorry ;D

yep, the weather's been great today, i went shopping and i'm really exhausted, hehe.

felix and me will probably go to london in september :) i really wanna visit england as i've never been there :(

and then there are of course the coldplay gigs in hamburg and berlin!

are you planning anything?

Ah right... that sounds interesting though! :juggle:

ooh shopping, buy anything nice? :) Ah, you should definitely visit London, I could show you around some places, heh!

I might be visiting Germany in August with my parents! (depends if I get a job or not) and then going to Dublin for a weekend later on in the year.

aww, dublin is such a nice city  been there three times so far, i'm totally in love with ireland in general...

haha, would be great if you could be our tour guide in london! i won't forget to ask you :sneaky: ;)

cool, which place(s) over here will you visit? :)

I can't wait to visit, always wanted to see Ireland! Although, I'm only really going for two days. Going to try and pack as much into that as possible!

Errm.......In Germany, my parents want to go cycling in the Mosel Valley area? So I guess we might visit places such as Köln, Koblenz, Frankfurt etc.... that's if we don't spend all the time on bikes

I've already been to the first two towns anyway...

ireland is simply beautiful, as soon as you got more time you should definitely visit the countryside as well, it's so worth every trip ;) i've been to the aran islands last year, it's magic... wait, i'll have to post one of my pics^^

hehe, i've been to frankfurt and köln, but only for concerts, so i haven't really seen anything^^ but i'm in hamburg almost every weekend, really nice city, highly recommended ;)

Oooh! The pic of Dublin makes me excited  thanks! The countryside photo is lovely! Is that telephone pole meant to be tilting? heh!

I have heard that Dublin is very very expensive from everyone I've talked to! eeek!

yeah, ireland is not the cheapest country in general, but of course it always depends on your standards or habits... so far i've always been able to find cheaper places ;) plus, i don't like youth hostels or hotels that much (expensive....) so i prefer going to a host family for example :) was really nice when i went there for the first time in 2005, definitely helps getting to know everything better...

anywayy, i think i'm off to bed soon :snore: was nice talking to you!! =)

goodnight, see you around :nice:

Oh, cool, so you got the 'insider's' view by staying with a family :nice:

You too! Night! :)

Yep dublin is really expensive!!!!!! So be prepared but it's a really cool place to be....but then again I am biased!! But I hope you get a nice weekend free from the horrible rain we've been having!!! :(

And let's hope you manage to avoid bumping into the likes of Gayzone, Wastelife and Spewy Walsh!!

^lol who's the last one?

thanks! I look forward to it... :nice:

Rain, I suppose you get a lot of it, being nearer the Atlantic? or is that the western side of Ireland more?

Where are the best places to visit, and eat out/drink etc? :)

I don't even think louis walsh still lives in Ireland! But the chances of meeting irish z-list celebs are usually quite low YIPPEE

@mark: oh i see... but that ronan keating guy seems to be quite nice, though ^^

ehm, yeah, i wanted to go to beed...

Well our weather is pretty similar to yours, but this year we've seen no sign of summer

It depends on where you're staying really and what type of trip you're hoping to have. Do you wanna experience the culture and see the historic sights? Or do you just want to have a good time?? :laugh3:

I think you mean Groanan Keating.
