@Lars : French is a tough language, even for us.... And even if you lost tons of vocabulary, it will come back quickly if you move there ;)

I'm off now.... See you all

Yeah, I think you're right. :)

When I was in Paris I always felt that the French people there are able to speak English, but they don't want to, so you always had to use the French language. I've never seen it before in another country or city. :D :) But IMO it's good. :) In Germany you have so many English words (especially in the media or in songs) or new words sound a bit English. For example: we didn't say "mobile phone" here... we say "Handy". It sounds very English and many people think it's an English word, but it's German. :D Very weird!

Je te souhaite une bonne nuit!

Hm, after I quit playing football on my football club 2 years ago, I often went jogging. But this year I was very lazy. I hate jogging when it's dark and cold, so I really began to jog two times the week in the end of March.

What about you? How often are you jogging with your friend?

I run marathons....................................:)

Really? Where did you run a marathon? My father always takes part in different marathons. In April, he ran in Hamburg again. :)

This is only the second or third time jogging...lol! Its tiring!! I usually play basketball...short bursts of running, not continious jogging..so Im not used to joggin yet!

My friend is doing the New York marathon.

Who was talking about Potsdam earlier, Ive been there! :nice:

London, Hamburg, Berlin, Essen, Monschau, Köln, Canada....................................

Yes, that's true, I had the same problems when I began to jog regularly.

Ophelie was talking about Potsdam. I wonder why you've been there. :) Did you visit Palace "Sans souci"? I was there a few years ago and I liked it. :)

:stunned: And what was the best marathon for you? Which one did you enjoy the most?

London has no equal. It's amazing every time.......................................the atmosphere is second-to-none.

Hamburg is great, too - my first-ever was there.

I went to Potsdam, because I went to Berlin....in 1999 I think! (with my family, camping  )

:) As a supporter I liked to see the Berlin marathon, because they are walking through the Brandenburg Gate. :) It's weird to know that 18 years before no one was ever allowed to go through...

Oh didn't know it. Do you like Berlin or not? :)

The Brandenburg Gate was covered up when I ran there, so I didn't get to experience it:angry:

I didn't think the rest of the route was that fantastic.....................................................................

Yeah Berlin was nice, we used to have German students staying at our house in England, and we kept in touch with one girl; she gave us a tour of Berlin when we were there....I remember a lot of building work and cranes there, a lot of regeneration. I also went to the zoo there and some other places. :)

Ive been to Germany quite a few times...Munchen, Koln, Hannover, and some others...and Berlin. :nice:

Where do you live in Germany Mark?

:) Where is your next marathon?

Not sure. They are very demanding events. I hope to do a couple of half-marathons in the next few weeks.

Not too far from Duisburg.

Yeah, Berlin is the biggest building site in Europe! :D I really like it to find so many historical things in Berlin... You can still walk besides the Wall, there is the Checkpoint Charlie, the new Reichstag where the government is placed in, the new chancellor building, but also some ugly things like the buildings in East Berlin, especially in Marzahn or the second Istanbul, called Neukölln. :D

You visit so many cities? :) I only went to a few British cities, like London or Cambridge. :(

Half-marathons... I think that would be too hart for me! :D
