why people break...

Featured Replies

why ppl break the guitars after the show?!or during the show?!

theres something im loosing?

i cant understand it, they dont like the instrument?

they have enough money to break and break and break them every concert?

is that cool or something?:dozey:

please i need an answer.

I think it's just symbolic. Like Hendrix lighting his guitar on fire during Monterey. It's just like.... Oh ye rock gods, here is a Fender Stratocaster in sacrifice to ye greatness! *smash*

And Pete Townshend started smashing his guitars by accident, when the band played a small club and he hit his guitar on the ceiling, snapping the neck. He got pissed so he smashed it up. It became a part of their show after that, giving them huge success. A lot of people identify The Who with the birth of punk music, therefore a lot of punkers take that and decide that they want to do it too. Pete's said that he got sick of having to ruin his guitars, but it was expected of him. Too bad those punk rockers don't know that he actually DIDN'T mean it...

the rush(no pun) forses you to do thing with thinking
