If I see it on a forum, I just ignore it. It might save that second of time writing it, but it takes about a minute longer to read it.

 

I used to type like that, though. When I was 13 or 14. I was a slow typer, so it saved me time. I'm quick enough now to make it slower to type in shorthand.

 

 

Not a big deal for me, although I can understand non-English speaking people finding it annoying.

My friends type like that all the time. One person I knew even started to put "LOL!" and "^_^" signs in her journal assignments at school. :laugh4:

 

I guess I'm used to it, but when I come across a MySpace I can actually read smoothly, it's a relief!

 

 

 

omg I do that all the time! I stop myself right before though.

I don't really like text talk that much. but abbreviations like omg and lol are ok.

but I can't stand when people go, "hey wht r u up 2?"
