Scolari - Next England Manager???

Featured Replies

Reports say the FA have offered the job to Scolari!!!i'm excited...he's won the World Cup with Brazil and got to the Euro 2004 final with Portugal!!!

But there will still be loads of people who won't accept him because he's another "Johnny foreigner"!!:P

But at least he has a good CV!

So did Sven before he came!!;)

Ultimately doesn't matter!!

Sven hadn't coached a major country before, which is a completely different style of game to domestic leagues!

Sven has been the best england manager ever, so underated by the press over here... they will be begging him to stay when we win the world cup... please remember this.. for those of you that say ' Johnny foreigner

I never said those people were correct!! I was just playing devil's advocate!!:)

Anyway, I'm just glad it means Curbishley's not going anywhere immediately.....................:)

He could end up going to Newcastle United !

I doubt it - I think there are a few ahead of him in the queue for that job, most notably Martin O'Neill!!;)

emm when u say it like that u could be right !

I'm also not sure the Geordies would welcome a "southern softie" as their chief!!:P

Latest poll on Sky shows 53 per cent against, only 47 per cent in favour!!;)

well, He's doing a great job with Portugal in my opinion... he's quite stubborn though...

Does he speak much English?

I heard he doesn't speak fluently. If anything, that should be a hard requirement for doing this job.

Another foreign manager. Great :dozey:

Que??:P

Scolari pulls out of England running

Luiz Felipe Scolari has withdrawn from the race to be England coach after complaining about the media intrusion into his life.

Well that didn't last long!! Back to the drawing-board, then??:P

Did he really expect to be totally anonymous? This is the England job, probably the biggest football coaching job in the world.

And some people just can't handle it!!;)

So maybe we won't end up with a "Johnny foreigner" after all...................

Perhaps they'll bring back the Turnip!!
