Hi

I've Had Acne For 4 Months Now, And It's Really Driving Me Crarzy!!!

What Pisses Me Off Is That I've Never Had Acne In My Life. Now That I'm

22 It's Kinda Weird To Have It.

Post In Here If You Have The Same Problem Or If You Just Want To Talk

About It.

Thanks In Advance!!

A friend of mine recently started breaking out a bit, hes 21, he asked me if I wash my face every morning and I told him yeah, and I use soap sometimes too as long as it doesnt leave my face dry/flakey, but anything to keep it clean.

He said that he only washes his when he takes a shower, and maybe has taken for granted the years of spot-free life.

I've had a few spots in my life but never actual breaking out into acne.

I don't think I've ever had this problem.I eat much sweet things like chocolate and candies though.

^Oh now as you talk about "unhealthy" food....when i eat unhealthy things like chocolate i get a bit of acne....hahaha.....like last weekend....you could see it immediately on my face...actually a good thing....so I don#t eat too much...

Yeah lucky me...But if I had acne because of food I eat it'd be hard to stop eating chocolate :uhoh:

Yeah maybe but luckely I eat everything I want to  Don't eat too much though, especially in summer.

i think it has nothing to do with food. i'm vegetarian and i eat loads of fresh fruits and vegetables. in addition i never eat junk food or choclate, believe it or not!!!

i think it has to do with stress. i've been stressed out this whole year both physically and emotionally. i hope it will fade away when i'm relaxed again.

it has to do with your chemical balance which is affected by food and hormones and stress... washing your face often will get the oil off that causes acne.. basically if you're pretty clean and healthy then you won't get acne .. not just healthy as in alive but healthy as in not stressed and you don't have hormones raging through your body although that's natural for a teenager

^ From what I know, it has nothing to do with food. It's only influenced by hormonal changes which depend on your state (if you're depressed, stressed, etc), your period of life (so if you're in adolescence you have more chances to get it because of all the hormonal flows) and mostly genetic patterns.

I've been dealing with acne for like 3 years now... its really, really annoying. My face looks freaking red all the time and sometimes touching my face can hurt. I wash my face like twice a day, it kinda helps.

^3 YEARS :o Seriously, you kinda learn to live with it.

i only get a major pimple if im stressed. betcha one will come right about now

I've only had one huuuge pimple in my whole life and I'm thankful. And yeah,it doesn't have anything to do with food like all the wise people have said before,it's just hormonal.

BTW it's really weird but I do get a pimple in my ear like once every two weeks, hurts like hell

i only get a major pimple if im stressed. betcha one will come right about now

wait? you can get pimples and acne from stress?????

I have not acne problems.. just sometimes... but no so much

man ive have pimples since i was like 8 or 9 :stunned: pretty bad ones too. but not the type where the acnes all over the face. like the head and chin mostly. its going down, but still can get a bit bad sometimes... :(

i think me and my mum are gonna go to a dermatologist soon cause im getting sick of this... :(
