Because intelligence doesnt always come from how well you speak. it comes from ideas and such too.

Correct speech and grammar are learnt during elementary school. If he can't get those basic, simple fundamentals down, there really isn't much hope for any higher intellectual processes, I'm afraid...

Danielle, those quotes.....LMAO!!

Because he's hiding." —George W. Bush, responding to a reporter who asked why Osama bin Laden had not been caught, aboard Air Force One, Jan. 14, 2005

^WINNER!!!

Other stupid quote is/was on Sofia's (Bright) signature, way more stupid!

"The Future will be better tomorrow"

G. W. Bush.

"Neither in French nor in English nor in Mexican." -George W. Bush, declining to take reporters' questions during a photo op with Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien, April 21, 2001

"We spent a lot of time talking about Africa, as we should. Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease." George W Bush, after meeting with the leaders of the European Union, Gothenburg, Sweden, June 14, 2001

Woah, this picture says way more about him than any of his idiotic quotes:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful - and so are we, they never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people - and neither do we." George W Bush at a Pentagon meeting, August 2004

 its just too easy!!! lol

No, I don't think Clinton was stupid... stupid for lying, yes. But Stupid in general.. no.

has anyone seen the new Rolling Stone issue???

Yeah, sure, things he's said have been dumb. But he don't talk like diss. I'm amused by a lot of things people have said, I'm sure people could find incredibly dumb things JFK, FDR or Lincoln had said. I'm POSITIVE, in fact I'll go look for them if I have to.

The problem is is that Bush talks in the wrong tense half the time, it's just pathetic. I guess it says a lot about our nation as a whole, however, when our elected official not just says incredibly ironic/contradictory things, but says them with wrong grammer as well  Oh well. I guess ideas are more powerful than intelligence.

His less-than-perfect grammar does, in fact, represent most of our population. I seriously cannot believe how grammatically incorrect our nation is. It's ridiculous. There's 298,444,215 in this nation. I bet that 50 million are actually able to use correct grammar.

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful - and so are we' date=' they never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people - and neither do we." [i']George W Bush at a Pentagon meeting, August 2004[/i]

You just proved how stupid you are by making that out to be a dumb quote. I remember when he said this and the anti-bushies went crazy, yet they were far to ignorant to understand what he was saying. thinking like your enemy to proctect agaisnt them. just went over the libs heads in that case, its a shame, they werent smart enough to get this.

Reminds me of back in my old days when i played stratigy games on the computer, when i was making defences for my base i'd think how the enemy would attack so i could defend it better....thats what you do in war. you think like your enemy.

Uh......

The way that he said it, it came across that "we" (the government) never stops thinking of ways to harm the country. Obviously he didn't mean it that way, he said it completely wrong though. What he should have said was:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful-and so are we. They will never stop thinking of new ways to harm our country and our people."

Instead he made it sound like "They never stop thinking of new ways to harm the country, and we don't either."

Oh please, you've got to admit it came across as completely idiotic, because it was. lmfaooooo. Wow.

EDIT:

I wonder, though, if it's Bush that says these things, or his speech writers. Because if it's the speech writers... poor Bush....

He didnt say it wrong. people are just too dumb to understand. people dont seem to know you think like your enemy during war. It was people's stupidity that was the problem here and them not being able to understand a simple idea. He's said some dumb stuff, but that one by far wanst even close to dumb.in fact the only dumb part is the people who did not get it.

Why do you always write people off as "stupid" so easily? It's really quite a general and immature thing to say.

Please, tell me what he meant there. Enlighten me.

Is it that hard to see? In simple terms, he was saying he's thinking like the enemy to defend against them....quite simple to see. This is a simple thing to understand, its was quite sad many bush haters didnt understand it. i know 8 year old who do.

I guess that makes me 7 and a half year old.

I knew what he meant, but the way he said it was amusing and came out wrong.

It didnt come out wrong.....just because it didnt come out the way you would say it, does not mean it came out wrong.

I think this belongs here!!

ahahha That "fooled me once..." bit just kills me every time. :laugh4:

I hate that Bush was forced on the rest of the world, but thank god he's out of Texas.

Like i said if anyone were to take many hours of you talking, they'd be able to make a long video of you messing up and saying stupid things. thats true for every human.

Mmmmm, but I don't have my finger on the nuclear button, do I?
