WTF?? lol you kill me.. remember.... Nixon had massive campaigns against him as well.. and its gotta speak for something when 75% of the WORLD hates the man..... Put down the weed you are smoking. jk jk I said CARTER was one of the worst NOT nixon. Not really.....because like i said the people buy what the media sells and when 99% crap agaisnt him it makes things worse. not to mention how a person or who is isnt determined by their popularity.. Matter-Eater Lad
haha well not as rude as saying all arabs are nazis :uhoh: It would be rude if i said that. but i simpy said the idea of nazism was widely accepted in the middle east. arabs arent nazi's but alot of the leaders and hatred towards the jews stemmed from nazi influence in that region. kinda like modern day nazi's in like america stemmed from nazi germany....alot of the hatred for the jews in that region is from the spread of nazism and the ideas taught by them in that region. I wish I had some herbals.. lol but I'm all out! well I urge you to read the latest issue of Rolling Stone.. a leading historian has written an article on Bush and his presidency... quite interesting. Look.. the man fucked up.. simple as that. He's human, yes. But the American public counted on him to guide us thru the first 4 years and the following 4.. but he has lost the trust of many. Myself included. I liked the man, honestly I did.. especially after we were attacked.. but I can't help but feel mislead and used. He lied.. and has been proven and quoted as lies.. and yet he's too damn proud to admit he made a mistake. That angers me. Thats why I don't like the man. Not because 'its the cool thing' to do... YOU haven't even voted yet in this country.... so talk to me when you have, and you feel cheated by the man YOU choose to represent your country. (for the record.. For a world leader to admit he'd make a mistake it would only boost the terrorist morale and be a major defeat to america. twistedlogic149
Berrywoman... here are some figures from other US Presidents. Truman finished World War II... but then started the Korea conflict. North Korea had never attacked the United States. There was approximately 55,000 lives lost in that war. JFK started Vietnam. Vietnam never attacked us. He was then assassinated, and Johnson took over. Johnson made matters in Vietnam worse, and by the time the war ended there were approximately 58,000 lives lost. President Bill Clinton, a pretty popular guy on these boards, went to Bosnia without UN consent. Bosnia never attacked us, either. But when offered Osama bin Laden's head on a silver platter THREE TIMES by Sudan... he declined. Osama has attacked us multiple times. Since the war began, there have only been roughly 7600 (rounded up) lives lost. And look what he's actually managed to accomplish by doing so. berrywoman
^ I'm not saying that this is acceptable either... but nearly 10,000 lost. In the month of April... we've lost 65 soldiers... thats the most deaths in a 5 month period ever since the war began.
twistedlogic149
Wait.. I'm confused. 65 soldiers lost in one month is the most deaths in a five month period!? Please clarify... what five month period are you talking about?

JFK did not start Vietnam, the French were kicked out by the Vietnamese, the french army had no way of protecting its citizens, hence the "police action" that then took place. dont get me wrong, i am in no way supportive of the vietnam war, but i was just pointing out an innacuracy. also, how many americans were killed in Bosnia? How much money did he lose us? Clinton helped the middle class man in America. Bush helps his rich friends. Sure Bush gives tax cuts to everyone, but he gives the BIIIIIIG cuts that he talks so highly of, to the rich guys! the top 1% of the country. how much money is halliburton making in iraq alone? Clinton was out when he told the bush administration about Osama, people blame him for what happened, but we forget that Bush had him cornered in Afghanistan/Pakistan when he started the Iraq invasion, taking the troops needed to capture bin laden and sending them to Iraq. I try to stay out of these but sometimes i cant help it. It is rather fun to just sit on the sidelines and watch though!

He was a good politician and man. A smart man who knew how to run a country. In the wake of possible impeachment Clintons approval rating actually rose to 76%. I dont mean to change the subject of the thread, but i would just like to say, he was a good president, and America agrees. Veitnam war was because the imperalist french wanted to keep indo-china as a colony.... Bush helped teh poor and middle class in america, something clinton did not do. the tax cuts bush got us were for mostly middle class people, bush has helped bring our economy back from 911, and has done an amazing job with it. please know your facts. the troops used in Iraq were different ones not being used in the chase for Osama, so if there wasnt a iraq war those troops wouldnt be being used to find him. so the iraq war makes no difference in the hunt for bin laden. so if we didnt invade iraq we would still be using the same troops and tactins in the hunt for osama. so the iraq war had no affect on that, the only difference is the media only focuses on iraq instead of osama. Legacy of what? he lied to the nation, cut defence spending, made dumb laws that prevented the cia and fbi and nsa from finding terrorist, cut fuding to those groups, had MANY chances to get bin laden but didnt. was attacked by terrorist 3 times and did NOTHING about it...yeah great legacy he left. one of failure and screwing our nation over.... He was a smart man, he knew how to look good in the eyes of the nation, but because of that our nation paid the price. by not taking action agaisnt terrorist it may have helped him politicaly and made him look good the world but only hurt our nation in the end. America agrees because they dont know the facts, most dont understand all the shit he did because the media did not tell them, unlike with bush we have the media tellign us everything he does wrong. but the fact remains the same, clinton was only a "good" president because he didnt do anything, therefor didnt really piss many people off. If bush would have followed in clintons foot steps and done nothing after 911, and kept on cutting defence spending he'd be in teh same boat, but unlike clinton he put his own political status on the line for the nation. something good ole bill never did. brandon313
people honestly believe the Iraq war was needed....wow it still amazes me that some people believe that... if it was needed, the war would be more popular. countries that need dealing with are Iran, North Korea and now China. If you want to go after nukes and such go for them! and Bush hasnt lied to the nation???? Clinton lied about a personal matter, Bush lies about everything! what about those Katrina tapes? nobody seems to talk about those! He claims "i honestly did not know how bad the situation was or was going to be" BULL SHIT, they have video evidence that explicitely showed him being briefed and told that the Levees were not going to hold up. and then again right after they broke, telling him how bad the situation was there. He asked NO questions, on how to help or ANYTHING for that matter. THAT IS FACT. whats with having the Bin laden family flown out of the country after the 9?11? no questions or interrogating? no just fly them out You say he didnt do "anything" no no no he didnt do ANYTHING, and by anything, do you mean starting pointless wars that get thousands killed?? Nahhh he was too busy helping out the average middle class american which makes up the 90% of our country. Let me ask you, are you rich? cuz if your not, you are on the wrong side.

Clinton knowingly lied to the nation many times, if he could do that with ease what else did he lie about? Its also a fact local and state goverments didnt do anything to fix the problems. people seem to forget the goverment as a whole messed up with katrina, there are just as many democrats to blame as there are republicans like bush for the situation, but democrats seem to forget this and just attack Bush when the blame lies on many people. I'm not rich, I'm middle class. but im on the right side, the side that doesnt raise taxes but cuts them for the middle class.
