why thank you! :D

i'm pretty musical......i think my greatest talent is being able to identify things with smell

acting' date=' singing, writing short stories, poems., I can also play trumpet and piano[/quote']

Simultaneously??:wink3:

Сreative personality usually has a few talents.I think I write pretty good, also draw, sing and take pistures.

wow.. some of you seem to very talent on arguing.........

I think my talents are :shifty: next question...

Hey there...

This reminds me of something: do you ppl believe that we're born to DO something that we're born to do? :D

I mean, that our talent leads us to specific areas? Or do you think that, with the same lifestyle and all the conditions involved, anyone can get as far as the other?

My answer (opinion) to my own question:

My experience tells me that talent is born with us. Sometimes we figure it out pretty soon, while observing something or someone else, other times we get close to it but not enough, and sometimes we never realise our true potential at doing something.

One of the things that amazes me the most is directly related to music (maybe it's the only thing I can discuss about because it's the area that I feel more comfortable with): the sense of hearing and the sense of rythm. You find people that just can't reproduce the tones they hear, either vocally or not (only after a few tries... and I don't mean they have a bad voice, they just don't know what is right or not), or that can't keep the rythm. You know, when in a concert the audience claps their hands out of tempo, or in a karaoke when someone "sings" totally out of tone. I find it really weird, and mostly annoying, because it seems so clear to me. And there are people that... I don't know... they feel it, or something. They get it, like it's our own language.

And then there are those maths guys that feel so sorry for our huge lack of intelligence, that is, availability for mathematical formulas and calculations.

Maybe we can achieve superb goals in areas other than our own, but that would require some interest from us, and maybe that's the point. We all feel attracted to certain things, and those are the things we make ourselves available for.

Big post, hein?

i posted these songs in the "Instrument Room", initially.

I wouldn't call it talent.

It's just spitting a part of me at you, using various tones.

I was clearing out my hard drive and came across some old songs I wrote. A lot of these songs were composed all at once, so I am proud that that exist.

Looking back, these almost seem like journal entries from long ago.

Here they are,

Infinite -

http://rapidshare.de/files/20176651/Infinite.mp3.html

One morning I woke up and hammered out this chord progression on the keyboard. I figured it was a rip-off of something. The guitar part is very easy.

Play -

http://rapidshare.de/files/20176844/Play.mp3.html

The intro is very "Square One"-ish. My buddy said that this sounds like Moby, so that's where the title came from.

Fall -

http://rapidshare.de/files/20177139/Fall.mp3.html

This is a two chord song (six total). I don't appreciate this one as much as everyone else, since I know how easy it is to play. I could play with electronic sounds all day long. I might do a remix of this one.

Faster!!!

24 -

http://rapidshare.de/files/20177327/24.mp3.html

Another easy guitar chord progression. The cello is so melancholic.

Okay, this is my weak attempt to copy Damien Rice!

I might need to speed this up a bit.

This is a song about the aftermath of Dimebag's assassination.

Why???

A E D -

http://rapidshare.de/files/20177715/A_E_D.mp3.html

Three chords can make a song. This song is fun to teach people. It almost makes playing the guitar seem easy. This is a optimistic good-bye song.

Thanks for listening!

Any feedback is welcomed.
