I suppose the thing I consider myself most talented at is guitar, I'm not great, but compared to others who've played the same amount of time as me, definitely. I am a pretty alright sportsman. Very much an all-round type person. I have played hmm:thinking:......... about 8...... I think..... sports in my time. ^OK all that I just said then is a very optimistic me, most of the time I would never really consider myself talented at anything. Sometimes I just think I'm some piece of crap that can't do anything. What talents do you have? Do you rate your skill in a certain area based on your goals, or based on other people? Im pretty good at drumming, and lots of fiddly instruments like I just rule at football, especially lately. Ive become a forward player, I've got the Golden Boot just about every time at the 7-a-side comps, which is like 20 times since last October. I'm pretty all-round in sports generally. I play in pool competitions, and have won more times then not. Just amateur comps though. One surprising talent is swimming, my friend used to swim for Zimbabwe a few years ago and when we went to the pool I was slightly slower then him. He kept beating me by like, a hand. I'm quick. Creative writing, I used to be able to put together some real good stories. My high school had this Millenium essay competition which everyone, 11-18, took part in, which I won. I also won a few things that were competitions held on TV, as well as 2 internet ones which I got money for. Im just not developing that talent any more, which is kind of a shame. Photography and filming could be a talent, if I really went for it, which I'll have to next year as part of my course. But even just taking pictures on mobile phones, I'm good at angles and such. Anytime people want to take a picture of all of us on a night out, I'm always the one holding the camera, not in the photo, darn my skills :( :( :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Actions speak louder then words? You are a walking cliche, thats your talent. How can I act on here that shows you my footy skills? Or swimming? I'm a talented person, I usually pick up on stuff and learn how to do it really quickly, people around me know this and sometimes haaate me for it in a jokingly way, its just a fact and I'm responding to this thread with it. At the end of the day I dont even think that winning medals or money doesnt mean anything as to who you are as a person, so my talents have nothing to do with me congratulating myself, they are just a part of me that I have no reason to deny or ignore.
