Hey all, i play the guitar and im just watching the Austin City Limits video of Coldplay playing Yellow. I noticed that the chords Chris is using are different from the actual chords from the written down music (like from parachutes). Maybe his guitar is tuned diffrently, or who knows...

 

I really like this version of Yellow and im wondering if anyone has, or knows, the rhythm chords from this live performance? If you do thanks a whole lot!

Ahh i wish i could, its a protected file though, i bought it off of the iTunes Music Store.

I've just taken a look and the chords look the same as the ones from the sheet music

Although, im wondering, why does the sheet music for Yellow say 'piano version'?

Because it's the piano version. There is a guitar version too.

I'm not too sure of the difference between the 'piano' and 'guitar' books myself.

I think that maybe it's because the piano version does not have the tabs in them, although i have noticed the occasional chord is slightly different (in some songs) between the two types of book.

i think yellow from pianobook is correct from what chris play
