mc_squared
Oops... Britney drops baby, but not a drop of her drink She was condemned for putting her baby son in danger when she drove with him in her lap. Now, Britney Spears's childcare methods are being questioned once again after she nearly dropped her eight-month-old son on his head. The pop star took a tumble as she left the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New York holding Sean Preston in one arm, and clutching a drink in the other hand. Taking a tumble: Britney Spears with her son Sean Preston As she walked to her car, her trousers appeared to get tangled in her open-toed shoes just as she tried to step around a pothole, according to witnesses. As Britney stumbled, her son's head whipped back in a "violent manner," his chubby arms desperately reached for his mother and his tiny hat was flung to the ground, according to the New York Post. Significantly, she managed to avoid spilling even a drop of her drink. Fortunately, Britney's quick-thinking bodyguard was on hand, and he caught Sean Preston before his head hit the floor. Britney was said to be distraught over the accident and burst into tears. It is the latest in a series of motherhood mishaps for Britney, who was recently criticised for dangerously driving with Sean Preston in her lap. He also fell from a broken high chair when he was six-months-old and being cared for by a nanny.

S3n|
I feel really sorry for that kid... poor little guy. Doesn't know his misfortune as having Shitney as his mother. (sorry if there's any Britney fans around) She's just so stupid. How can she have more attention to a drink than her own child? ...:shocked2:

Mimixxx
I feel sorry for her. She needs some help I'll admit but she's getting slated everywhere. I have no doubts that she's trying her best and loves sean so much. Everyone makes mistakes difference is she's got cameras following her 24/7. And strangers passing judgement on her. These break my heart: ^Thanks to Mary N at gwynethpaltrowfan.com She just needs some guidence, she's not a bad mother. I truely believe that. mc_squared
Well she needs a reality check, that's for sure! ;)
bonnie2789
i agree. i feel sorry for the lady. with constant scrutiny and people analysing everything she does, it must be incredibly difficult to lead a normal life without people criticising her every move of raising her son. leave her alone and let her be. mc_squared
^If she didn't want all the publicity then she shouldn't have gone into showbiz. It comes with the territory, especially when she was pretending to be all sweet and innocent to enhance her career (when it appears it was all a sham). Now she has to live with the repercussions - she can't expect to be able to lead a "normal" life.
bonnie2789
yes i know, i accept that. but there is a certain limit to it, isn't there? come on, this is getting way too extreme.
mc_squared
^She has to accept she's "hot property" for the paparazzi and take necessary precautions - or accept the consequences.
mc_squared
^She even burst on to Letterman's show unannounced last week to announce she was pregnant again, which was totally unnecessary.
bonnie2789
i see. i believe though that she's only gone loony as a result of constant public scrutiny. she may be 'hot property' but i still believe that the media can sometimes go too far.
mc_squared
^If they're taking photos in completely private situations, yes - but not when she steps out in public.................................
bonnie2789
so is that to say that the second she steps out on to her front lawn, people are allowed to take pictures of her as they please, follow, stalk, drive her insane, and criticise her every move? mc_squared
^I'm not saying I approve of it, but it comes with the territory. If you court publicity to become famous and make pots of money as she has, you have to accept that you're unleashing a monster. That's the way it goes. If you make your bed, you have to lie in it!!;)
bonnie2789
i see what you mean. that's true. ;) i just don't approve of it :(
mc_squared
^That's fair comment. I'm just saying that publicity-hungry people like her have to take the rough with the smooth. How can you really feel sorry for someone with all the millions she has??
