Brazil

who knows.... I hope another brazilian player can be the man of the match again, but first of all, I would like Brazil to play better.

I hope for u that your team will play better or will do a bad figure one day.....!

you have msn....can i take you address?

Will they suddenly start playing?

Where are their problems?

I personally dont think they're good enough defensively to win the tounament. Their defence was caught out so many times today, and that was against an average Austrailia side. Their two wing backs, are aging and are expected to bomb forward and to their defensive duties.

In midfield, Emerson doesnt look in good shape, and Ronaldinho never tracks back. And then up front Ronaldo is clearly un-fit/unwell. While they have some great players, they are yet to impress me and I dont think they will. :\

i don't think so. i was looking forward to watching the brazil games, once i heard they were in the same group as aus. i thought they were going to be impossible to beat and everything, but really, they're playing so damn average, they have no spark on their side. their games bore me, and even though australia played average today too, they're not the world champions. this is the first time they've played in the world cup in 30 something years. brazil are supposed to be the defending champions. :dozey: nothing but a boring team to me.

and they're probably not going to try against japan. why would they? they're already through. :dozey: the only reason they WOULD try is because they wouldn't want japan going through. the other option is playing really shit so australia might not get through. i don't know. they bore me so muchhhhh it hurts to watch them

yes...

done it! thanx!!

Kaka is the guy with the steadiest shape compared to other Brasilian players such as Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.

even if brazil are boring me to death... i must say, kaka is one good looker.

Yeah, they bore me too....especially considering the hyp that surrounded them and the expectation people had of them before the WC.

they are playing in a really boring way, i agree with u bon. but i dont think they'll back off for japan because they are already through. First coz everyday more, Parreira needs to prove himself to all brazilians, and he needs to prove that puting Ronaldo on the field is right.

For everyone whos wanting for ronaldo to stay on the bench (including me) next game: he is gonna play!! and now its more obvious than ever. He is fat and doesnt have rhytm, but against japan is a good oportunity for him to run more, and get more game rhytm, considering they dont really need to win.

As much as we (brazilians) love our team, we are not soooo optimistic that we are gonna win. unless we manage to improve our group skills in these 12 days before the 2nd round, we will be pretty screwed when we are up against one of the great teams that are playing this world cup.

I think other than Argentina and Spain, all other teams are playing really averagelly, and thats kinda disappointing...

but hopefully Brazil will get better soon...

AMEN to that sistah! he is indeed i'm hoping brazil play better and pass him

the ball so that the camera is on him he he :D

hahaha that's what i was thinking throughout the entire match. "pass the ball to kaka" hahaha

haha i knew ronaldo would play fine this game. I mean his knee is practically gone....he hasnt played very much in the past few months because of it. And when you are playing non stop football for most of your life and all of the sudden you are injured and cant play for months on end. of course you will gain some weight!! But he is by no means FAT. maybe to football standards. But look at him 4 years ago in 2002, hes not a small skinny guy at all. He never has been, hes been fairly stocky for a long time. He is maybe 5 to 10 lbs heavier, and every day he plays he gets more and more into game shape as he was. look at these pics.

him is 2006 BEFORE he started to get fit and lose weight

sure there is some difference, but the only way to make it better is to play him now so he is ready. and by the looks of his performance against Japan, he is well on his way.

"He is gradually getting fitter but the only way he will continue to get fitter is to play more games." Coach Parreira

we will see him against Ghana no doubt, and hopefully he will be even better.

The Brazilians were in no real fear of not making it to the round of 16. Im sure they have saved the best for last

you were poven right ;) seems like the coach was proven right also he he

btw you forgot Ghana - they are playing brilliantly

brazil is the best , im proud to be brazilian...

I've never liked Brazil team. I started watching football in '98 and my mom and sis were supporting France in final and I was too small to really understand anything so I just decided that Brazil is bad :uneasy:

And even now I dislike this team. It's too 'cool' to be my fave.

:) its cool. i just always liked Brazil because they seem to love to play the game so much. Usually when you are a dominating team like brazil, it is filled with a bunch of rude S.O.B's. But Brazil isnt like that, usually, and thats why i like them!
