June 26, 200619 yr i wasn't a player in Turkey - Switzerland match so it has nothing to do with me:) i am just talking about this match and i couldn't see any great moments of football as i saw in other matches.. I think both teams seemed to be more interested in "cheating" than winning the match fairly - that's why it was less of a spectacle than it could have been.;)
June 26, 200619 yr Deco didn't return the ball... that's true. But Holland didn't return the ball more than once when they ball belonged to Portugal. That's something called fair Play in my book. The first Deco's yellow card we had a man down and the ball belonged to Portugal But once you are on a yellow card (whether justified or not) you need to be extra careful and not do anything stupid. Deco was an idiot for this reason.

June 26, 200619 yr I think despite everything the game was so insane that it was funny. LOL I mean.. it's better than a boring game :P Though lets hope there aren't seriously injuries. And you know what? Maybe there will be more games a little bit like this from now on. Lets hope not.

June 26, 200619 yr It was an intriguing match, that's for sure. And the English commentary in the second half was just amazing. Not quite quote: Commentator 1: The ref's gone to talk to the linesman. After Poll's experience the other day he wants to make sure he's consulted his officials. Commentator 2: The linesman's telling the ref that there are still 3 players on the pitch who he hasn't booked! Felt a bit sorry for Ronaldo, which was a weird experience because i usually don't like him at all. Poor kid got whacked in the leg, and you could see that lump growing whilst they filmed him (although he did look mighty embarrassed to have the pitcj-side camera shoved in his groin!). And how frustrated was he that he had to come off.

In the end Robben won "hands down" (on the ground) as he stayed on the pitch for longer!!:P
