iPod or electric guitar

Featured Replies

mhhh ... it's such a tough question

i've been saving money for about 6 months yet to buy an electric guitar (i'm a pretty poor kid :)).

i wanted to buy it next month but my sister suddenly said that she could also get an iPod for me (the video one).[she wanted to "donate" some money for me anyway]

however

what am i supposed to do now?

on the one hand i've been waiting for my guitar for so long now but on the hand i'd love to have an ipod since i've got tons of music and videos and photos ... +_+

you decide

Will you use the guitar everyday?

or

Do you really really need an ipod to carry your music around, or are you selective and will update it every day, if so get a ipod shuffle

mhh ... i'm not playing my acoustic guitar very often ... so ... i could assume how it will be with the electric one ...

and an iPod shuffle is waaaay to small for me

you have a guitar' date=' so buy the iPod :)[/quote']

you're right ... :sneaky:

but i wanna hear some other opinions first :)

If you're quite often on the road, you should definitely get the iPod... Since you're still in school it seems very useful to me.

But if you really intend to put much effort into your guitar-playing you should get that guitar because it could bring you further with your playing-skills and creativity... :nice:

But it's your decision, not ours :sneaky:

I don't know, but I so choose an electric guitar over an iPod.

Get an electric, definatley.

It's seriously the best thing i've done in years. (but then again I didn't play before I bought it)

nah, u don't need an ipod right now. Get an electric guitar, it's more fun and creative. A cd player can do just fine instead of an ipod.

But u dont really use the guitar u have now so wat makes u think ur gonna use the new one u would get??? U should get an Ipod! :D

do u have a Mp3?

Yes -> buy the electric guitar...

if you feel the need to create, and even if you've got an acoustic one, I advise you to buy the electric one.

If it were my choice I'd definitely buy the electric guitar!!!

But with that, I'd want an amp, but I still think a guitar is better than an ipod (which sucks, get a creative zen!) :)

i would say electric guitar...but maybe that is just because i have an ipod lol

okay, then if you already have an accoustic guitar and you say you don't use it quite often... I presume the same will happen if you buy the electric one. Perhaps you'll play it more 'cos it'll be new, but in a few days, you won't do it.

I have an iPod nano and I use it every day, so if you like as much as me the music, I'd recommend you to choose the iPod.

Anyway, the decision is up to you.

buy the electric guitar

i guess i'll get the iPod ... +_+

he he ... Iris is right

i bet i might play a lot at the beginning but after a few weeks the guitar will catch some dust ... :)

hahaha, Grace, some DUST?! poor guitar!!!! What a bad future it'd have then!!!

Definitely is better you get the iPod. Surely you won't regret of your choice!!! ;)
