I wouldn't be so strict, but I'd hate to be like a friend to my kids in a way that they don't respect me.

I wouldn't know what kind of parent i will be.

 

But if you had kids, what would you call them?

I can't complian abou my parents,so If I could be as half good as they,my childs would be happy and I would be a great parent.

Imagine a time when your little sprouts are running around, would you be strict? Would you be Kevin Arnolds dad? Would you be Richie Cunninghams mother?

 

Would you be lenient? Would you try and be the kids friend, or an authority figure?

 

I'd be the kind of father that would sit out in a lawn chair, drunk, in his underwear, and unable to remember the names of his own children.

 

That's pretty much what I am now. But it'd be official.

yea, I kind of think I'll be the same in a way... I'll be the same person but I believe it will change me. I always hope and pray that I'll be a great father because it's one of my greatest goals... I'm going to punish my children when they're young but I want them to know I'm not doing it because I'm mad at them because I feel many parents make that mistake.

 

I want my kids to know why I discipline them (because of ethics) but I also want them to feel loved. I want them to feel like they can always come to me but I believe that's going to be almost impossible ... it depends on the kid(s)

 

so...

 

1. I don't want to have a temper... I want to punish them when they do wrong for their sake, not mine

2. I want to be a fun dad to be with that they trust and love and can talk to
