Rooney decision being made TODAY

Featured Replies

And what is £2,400 for Rooney anyway?

Isn't he on a 60k a week?

Come on, it's like fining someone on say £100 a week just 4 Quid.

And at least the 2 games he will be banned ain't against 'big' teams, just teams which will be looking for a shock victory against england.

And there WON'T be any "shocks". Crouch and Bent should play up front.;)

Well it was a bit weird because throughout the tournament red cards have been shown immediately after an offence has been committed. With Rooney this didn't happen - the ref only indicated a free-kick. Go figure.;)

So the ref made his decisions based on what Ronaldo told him?

Riiiight

I think McClaren can get us through 5 competitive games without Rooney and Owen.

Darren Bent, Peter Crouch, Jermaine Defoe, Theo Walcott, Andy Johnson.

I'm sure we can manage.

No. The red card was actually issued for Rooney's push on Ronaldo, but when the ref heard what Rooney had done afterwards, he wrote it in his report.;)

All very convenient.;)
