Sushi?

Featured Replies

How does everyone like sushi here? I really like it, but not like LOVE it. My older brother and sister are both obsessed with it. We went out for some tonight and it just bumped up my appreciation :D mmm california rolls.

So it just got me thinking, how much do you people like it and how? I like it with soy sauce and a little bit of wasabi. Don't like ginger...

i like sushi...but not with raw fish

Alot of my friends like it, but I can't eat it- I'm allergic to fish. :( I don't dare even try the vegetarian sushi for fear it may have come in contact with the fish.

I bet you I would like it if I could eat it, though.

I have eaten sushi ones and i don't like the "cover" of it. I guess it's called Nori or something. I know sushi can be made without nori so maybe i'd like it

i ate sushi when i was like 6 i liked it

I love Sushi. And I'm usually eating way too much of it, when I go out for some, heh.

ekk, for me I've never tried Sushi and I probably will not. I don't like any seafood or raw foods like that...

^^Most people say they can't imagine liking it, but then they do :D

You should at least try it once ;D

I used to go to this sushi place called Maki Yaki every week on Fridays, heh.

Sushi is YUM. I like Cali Rolls, and those rolls that are like cali rolls but with a slab of salmon on top of it. Mmmmm...

I don't like any of that super exotic stuff--like sea urchin or eel, haha.

I've got a thome a book that teaches how to make them....and once i've tried with my mother to prepare some nighiri......:D

Well i like Sushi...but the raw fish idea is kind of weird...Don't u think?

nah not really, in australia the raw fish is alright as they check it and stuiff. i'm not sure about other places. although the chicken terriyaki handrolls are quite nice. they're like terryaki chicken and avocado in a handroll.... mmmmmmmmm yum!

by saying nori...do you mean 'sea weed'???

because i think it taste good

mmmm nori is good. i didn't like it at first either. its an acquired taste i reckon.

sushi is my favourite food! i absolutely love it. whenever i eat it, i tend to overeat b/c it's just too good to pass up or waste any of it. haha

My family also has a sushi maker. But it's not like one of those ones where you need to roll it. It was really good to. Put some vegetables in, some avacado (YUM). Then we had some with salmon which were so tasty, and some vegetarian ones for my brother's girlfriend especially! (we ALWAYS make sushi when she comes over. So I'll probably be having some more this weekend :P)

i ate sushi before the coldplay concert! :P:P i like it, it's good. cept i would never try the eel or sea urchin.

im gonna puke, sushi is nasty

not all sushi is raw...sashimi is always raw fish though. i love it all! except i'm pregnant right now so i can't eat sashimi or sushi with raw fish. i have to stick with the vegetarian sushi. oh, well...

btw, the seaweed is really good for you and sushi/sashimi for the most part is very healthy and low in fat. I always eat it with a bit of soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. mmm...
