In reply to the first post: No. If as a non-watch carrier I want to know the time, I just look on my phone. Besides, most of the time looking at your watch is just a habit. When I lost my watch years and years ago I really missed it because I kept looking on my wrist but after a while it just stopped. I didn't feel the need for a new watch.

I also look at my watch when someone asks me what day or date it is ... there is no date or day feature on my watch.

So then when I tell them the date there is an awkward moment when they realise that my watch doesn't show the date, haha.

Haha but like, if you wonder what the time is, you don't simply look at your wrist, but reach inside your pocket to get out an ipod or phone? :huh:

 

So your main point of having a watch is to have a second to think about what date or even day it is because you can pause to look at it, hahaha. Oh classic ELS.

No, I generally know the date before I look at my watch :| It's just a natural reflex and then I pretend that my watch has the date on it to hid the fact that I looked at my watch .... and I know I'm slightly weird.
