Jehovas Witnesses

Featured Replies

screw them ... the earth should've exploded about 200 times by now.

I'm not able to have an opinion about them..don't know too much about their religion. One of the best people I know is a jehovas witness, but I knew it only when he told me, so my opinion about him didn't change.

well, they walk around the houses, ring and want you to buy their magazines O.o

it's not like a religion to me. it's like a sect.

there's a jehova's witness in my class. i don't really like him, but it's not because of his confession. i don't know him very well either.

Uhmm yes I know they walk around houses and things like this...but well he doesn't seem to act like this way, and he usually doesn't want to talk about it.

But maybe I'm not objective cause he's the guy I like ;)

hehe :)

well I actually happen to know they dont sell things. they actually give them away for free

well, at school we have RE for catholics and protestants and ethics for people with any other confession.

and one day that bloke's dad came to school and introduced the whole class to his confession. :stunned:

hehe, my friend told me... i'm catholic, so that's why i wasn't there.

Knowing each other confessions to me is just a good thing, cause most of the people usually speak about and judge them without knowing anything..then anyone can choose what to believe in :)

Wacko Jacko was one for a while - he used to go doorstepping in Beverly Hills................

Bit creepy. Got pity for those who are stuck with them.

There was one of them in my school. And i guess she was just fine but she just was a bit weird and her family was weird too..they had like 200 kids.

well, I dont really have an opinion about this. if we are talking about them as persons I dont see a big difference, my uncle and his family are witnesses and one of my cousins and her daughters are too. and I like them a lot :nice:

I think they are a bit weird and mis-guided...the bad thing is that my brother turned into one a few years ago,we dont speak anymore....

My mom made me do those "free bible studies" with them. So for two years this lady would come to my house once a week to talk about God and the bible and all that good stuff. I even went to their church a few times. But I don't really agree with some of the things they bellieve so I stopped studing with them. This might sound awful but the day I told the lady I don't want to study with them anymore I kept thinking: "I'M FREEEEEEEEEE!!!!"

Whatever. They're just kind of there, and I don't really care, just like everybody else. o_o

I do love that Far Side cartoon, the one captioned with "The Blob Family at Home":

"Jehovah's Witnesses! Everybody act like beanbag chairs!"

Whenever we see them coming our whole family locks the house and runs out the back. :nice:

I'm glad I never have seen them...

hmmm..but wait...once we drove through a village...and there were some strange people standing at the bus stop who looked like kings....strange...and it was not the 6th of january..

Jehovas are freaks.

My aunt and my cousin were Jehovas withnesses. A few years ago he drunk some engine oil and he needed a blood transfusion. He ALMOST died, because his mother don't wanted to agree with transfusing blood for him.

Parents should never do something like that. It's terrible.........................

I've heard about that kind of thing before. It's awful.

You can't call them freaks for what they believe in. It's their lives...and their beliefs. You can't just judge them like that. If they really are Jehoves Witnesses-they accept every part of it and understand every part of it.

Same goes for Catholics, Budists etc...just because you disagree...

I mean...tolerance.
