"Watching" Sex with your parents

Featured Replies

I hear that

when you see sex scene after screw scene after hump scene... you have enough. And it totally and truly loses its purpose.

There is not true point and sense (if any) for " love" in a movie is lost.

But yeah..some scenes are totally necessary. True that.

-yeah

Haven't watched the TV with the parents since I was a toddler

Who does that anymore? Didn't know kiddos still watched with their parents.

That would be akward if

A) Your parents have never had sex and sex would make them feel akward because

they don't know much of it

B) they may or may not have had the sex talk with you

C) you're just not all the comfy with the family in matters of sex

Choice ' A' (proven by your existance...) can be scrathed of all your lists.

Why is watching sex so uncomfortable with parents? Specially around their kids who were conceived with said subject! SEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Oh crystal......well I can agree with all those points you've shown there....

and I said this earlier in this thread:

but somehow I always have to imagine what my mum thinks in these moments...maybe not about her sex life....but about MY Sex-life...

Maybe this is the reason why I feel not comfortable with it.....I just don't!

It's a fact I can't change it!

Good thread, Julia! :nice:

NO, I don't like to watch sex with my parents. I don't feel comfortable either, it's just an awkward situation, as you said and I prefer to avoid it. It's a different case, though, if I see these scenes with my friends or alone - I think the last one is one of the best ways for watching them. I don't like to hear them to make comments or... I dunno. It's simply uncomfortable.

If my mom and I are watching a movie with sex in it, I usually have already seen it, so I know when it's coming up. So when it comes I just leave the room and be like 'I'm thirsty...let me get something to drink..' and then when I come back it's over...But sometimes the plan doesn't go very well...and I'm stuck watching a scene with her.

That's what I do when my dad's in the room, but I have no problem watching one with my mom. o__0

I never watch TV with my dad...we can never agree on what to watch. :P

Hi Annie

Hi Emily :)

i watch TV with my dad, usually tennis

and he also likes shows like seinfield and friends :P

i dont like watching things with my mom, because she thinks all comedy shows are stupid, and she only likes those heavy foreign films that u know that by the end of the movie ull be all teary eyed

she only watches gilmore girls with me sometimes, but then she asks tons of questions cause she usualy doesnt watch it. So it's kind of annoying

Hi! =D

I never watch that show, but my mom loves it.

We watch TV together all the time.

What's cool is sometimes I get the remote. =D

Hey again Gal! :happy2:

Well when you mentioned tennis, I remember now the only other thing we watch together is soccer. :) No sex there...

I used to watch Seinfeld and Friends re-runs, but I keep missing it now. Same with Law & Order:SVU, and it's my favorite show!

I have a TV in my room, so I just watch in there when I want to. Or I just watch late at night in the living room, because everyone else is sleeping. :P

with both my parents i always have the remote :P

but there are many things id rather watch alone in my room, my dad can be pretty abnoxious sometimes, because he acts like im still 7 and he always comes in ans starts huggin me and and bothering me :dozey: so if im in the living room it's just 1000 times worst.

they just always make so much noise that it's really horrible watchinf TV with them

Hey again Gal! :happy2:

yea me too, but there are some channels that are only in the living room, like the movie channels.

so sometimes i watch TV in the living room, for movies and stuff

and usually if u run into sex scenes in the living room

my poor friend watched the movie "the sweetest thing" with camero diaz in the living room with her mom. She didnt know there were so many sex scenes :uhoh:

and now im reminded that my friends once asked her dad what S&M is :stunned:

and now im reminded that my friends once asked her dad what S&M is :stunned:

^^:shocked2:  It's like how a little kid asks their parents where do babies come from...just on a slightly different scale.

My family can be loud. Having a little brother and sister that fight all the time, it's hard to watch TV! That's why I always put on captions. When people come over and watch TV with me they think it's weird, but hey, it helps. :shy:

Actually, last summer my cousin and his French girlfriend visited us, and when we were watching TV she actually liked having the captions on, because she wanted to get better in English. :P

My mom and I always watch soccer together. ALL THE TIME. And The Office, which we both love.

yea, i like it when they're hebrew captions for everything because if i miss something in english i just read along (it's hard to ignore it) and then i dont miss stuff

however, it's hard to concentrate with such a loud family :P

my little brother once asked me what a condom is :D

^^Soccer AND The Office??? Your mom is awesome! :D

my little brother once asked me what a condom is :D

^^Don't kids ask the darnest things?

haha, he was really cute :p

since he's the youngest, and has me and my older brother- and we're 5-6 years older than him, he started watching shows like friends and seinfield from a young age

and since they talk about sex some of the times, he just wanted to know what it is.... :D

^^Yeah, he has to know eventually, right? It doesn't hurt to know a couple of years before all the other kids...:P

that's true... i think :uhoh:

well, it's kinda hard to avoid it with what's on TV today (sounds like a sentence an old person would say :P)... but when u're the youngest in the family sex is on TV all the time :dozey:

My little sister who is seven was asking me and my brother how do you women get pregnant. We just looked at eachother like this.-->:blank:

And one day, I guess when I was watching TV (something probably not for her eyes...or ears) and she came in and saw it, and a couple of days later she's like 'is that how they make babies? kissing in bed naked?' :stunned: That scared the crap out of me and I left the room without answering...

hahahaha :D

well, u have a little sis and i have a little bro

older siblings are usually very protective of their younger sisters. With my bro it's different... like when he's older (like 16) i wouldnt mind buying him alcohol or stuff like that haha
