"Watching" Sex with your parents

Featured Replies

This is a good thread.

I feel uncomfortable cause I don't know what my mam's thinking. She could not have noticed but I can't help feeling she's watching my reaction to it and thinking "Hmm... How active is Jack's sex life... Why doesn't he tell me about his girlfriends... Let's intrude his privacy"

I hate it. My sex life is between me and my left hand only!

My parents make me cover my eyes!!!!!

I'm 15! I KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!!! ( i should tell THEM that)

OH MY GOD- I watched Brokeback Mountain with my mother...AWKWARD!!! She was like: "OH!GOD!!! JENIKA SHUT YOUR EYES!!!!" And they had sex like 10 times in that movie...god.

One time my mom fast forwarded the movie at a sex scene...didn't help because I still saw what was going on! :P

^^:laugh3:

lol... my parents are actually pretty open when it comes to sex in the way that they are, first of all, not naive... so when my brother and his girlfriend went to a cabin together they sorta figured what they were doing there :uhoh:

and in the way that i dont think they're that embarassed. Like if we're watching a movie and there's sex i think im the one that's embarassed- my mom, not so much.... but is curious to know what she's thinking

oh, and before my brother had a serious girlfriend i think i "overheard" (meaning eavesdropped) my mom talking with my bro, and she told him something about condoms and safe sex....

he must have been really embarassed....

LOL aahh the 'talk' with your parents...

Glad I'm not there yet!:P

haha... i wonder if theyll do it to me sometime

they're alot more naive about me than they are about my brother. Like when my bro goes out on friday nights they know he's drinking. With me, they think im going to a coffee shop and drinking coffee with my friends

yea lol

once i didnt wanna take the car because i wanted to drink (i always drink and drive in the limit that i can, and smoke a hookah which also makes u high for a few mins), so when i didnt take the car my mom asked me "Why??? Are u drinking?" and then my dad is like "NO! Of course not..."

and im like "I dont wanna be driving him tired in the middle of the night"

so that's what they think if i dont take the car :P

and once i told them i drank, and i got the point after that one time, so they think i tried it and didnt like it... so yea, they are abit naive when it comes to me

atleast that's what i think

just that every time after i go out they ask where i sat and if we had some coffee, lol. And im always like "yea..."

Lol bad Gal! :P

My parents are very overprotective of me. I know it's their job, but I'm not stupid! They think I do all these stupid things and I'm like 'come on, mom! It's a school dance!' :dozey:

well, i think there are some streaotypes about american parents and rules

like do u really have a curfew? And do they ground u and stuff?

most parents here are pretty free about things, like even when i was 15 i never had to ask my parents if i could go somewhere and when i can come back. It was always like "Im going downtown, BYE!!"

and i took some of their money and left lol :D

Lucky duck...:)

My family is actually very different. I don't really have a curfew. I just ask if I can go somewhere and they say okay...and they just pick me up at the time the plan is over, or I get dropped off.

I don't get grounded either. I just get a really long lecture, and they let it go.

oh...

well, going out would also be easier for u once u get a license and u can go out and come back whenever u want

i used to have this american friend, she was my neighbour, and her mom would always ground her and she was hardly allowed to do anything. But that was when i was like in the 5th grade....

Yeah it's usually an American stereotype.

But I'm ASIAN-American (Vietnamese to be exact) so the most they ever lectured me about is grades...hahaha

In Pennsylvania I think they raised the age to get your license to 18...I don't know if I made the cut-off year though.

well... you're parents arent so strict so it's not that bad

all parents do have streotypes- like asians with grades, and american with boys and girls and drinking and drugs... wonder if jewish parents have any stearotypes lol

maybe that they're always like "eat! eat!"... like italian parents :P
