Hey a new member, cool. Yeah I know the feeling, I don't watch films with my parents sitting next to me but I once watched the film 'The Good Girl' alone and when a ... sex scene showed up my mom went upstairs and asked me what I was doing.. omg.. good timing

OMG YES! this is awful! and it's far more akward with my dad than with my mom..

 

And when the screaming and shouting is really loud...that makes it worse. :sick:

 

I know! I don't usually go to the movies with my family but this one time a long time ago I don't know what go into my parents but we went to the movies together and we saw What Women Want with Mel Gibson and there's this sex scene with Marisa Tomei and she's being really loud. I felt so uncomfortable I just stared at the screen the whole time. I don't think I even blinked through the entire thing.

well, i've already wachted a film in which there is sex while my mother was here...

I didn't feel ashamed, neither akward... We made jokes! And we laughed a lot!!

I know it 's weird to joke about that with my mum! but it was pleasant to feel so comfortable, with my mum though!

Noone's said there MUST be sex in a film. There're loads of film without sex!

Sometimes sex scenes are just to catch people's eyeballs, raising their attention to the film and making it impressive.

Sex is a part of life ya' know! And films are (mostly) about life, so sex can be relavent in the film. Unless its porn...then the film is based around sex. :uhoh:
