August 31, 200619 yr While there is truth in Miller's article, and I'm actually glad someone said it...it could be taken badly in the present. Historically, the article is correct. But in today's world, as was said, it is not. No more than saying that there is no Canada because 400 years ago there was not. I'm torn on this one, because it's been driving me nuts that people are dying over a claim to a homeland that never was...but I think the thread is more harmful than not.

I think a discussion on organising a situation where fair distribution of the land as well as attempts to curb violence in the region is a much better use of time at present. That's obviously a very tough task but it's a lot better than the trouble caused when people shout on about the legitimacy of certain peoples existence.
