Dear Campaigner,

Archbishop Desmond Tutu just became the one millionth person

demanding fairer trade rules by signing up to the Big Noise

petition to make trade fair!

Oxfam will present the Big Noise petition to world leaders

when they meet in Cancun on September 10th 2003. But to

really make them sit up and listen, we need three million

people to sign up to the Big Noise by September 10th. We

need your help! Act now by doing one (or more) of the

following actions:

- Cut and paste the "footer" text below into your own e-mail

footer and spread the word effortlessly through every message

you send

- Cut and paste the "e-mail" text below into a new email

message and send it to your friends

- Print out a petition and have lots of friends, family and

colleagues sign it before sending or faxing it back to us.

Get a petition sheet at

http://maketradefair.com/stylesheet.asp?file=07042003145007

Taking any of these actions now will help us reach three million

people by September 10th.

Thanks for being part of the Big Noise and for your continuing

support,

Alison Woodhead

Oxfam Trade Campaign Co-ordinator
