How You See The World on the next Coldplay studio album?

Featured Replies

i've read somewhere it will be on the LP4, though don't remember where. maybe it was a rumor without any sources, but i like the thought.

simply because it's the best song of the X&Y era.

and if you think a bit the re-release isn't impossible. HYSTW was released on the Warhild album and there was an example that a band re-released a song after one of the Warchild albums. Radiohead's Lucky first was released on the Warchild album, an year after it made the OK Computer track list

also the song would fit Coldplay's possible darker direction and more serious lyrics on the next studio album

any thoughts?

I would be really excited if HYSTW was on the next album. Preferably part 2, though.

I agree, it would definitely drive the darker side. I can't wait to see how the rest of the album is if they decide to put HYSTW on it!!

That would be awesome.

And, if your friends listen to it on the new album, you could be like 'Oh I already heard that song. Love it.' And it's their first time hearing it. Makes you a true Coldplay fan! :)

that'd be great :D

Yeah that'd be pretty awesome since it's one of maybe five best Coldplay songs for me. And it really does have some sensible lyrics unlike many other Coldplay songs, you know.

I think it could be true, after all they're are really proud of that song.. and it is amazing

Hmm...stranger things have happened, that's for sure. But the 4th album is soooo far off, I wouldn't even begin to think about it. They might (and probably will) write 11-13 songs that are a million times better than it to put on the album!

I've always loved HYSTW, though. It should've been on the album. But, as far as single goes, it comes down to numbers. all 6 X&Y singles are way better than the song, but there's not much on, say, AROBTTH *SINGLE WISE* that could've beat it (outside of the 4 singles, and maybe Politik). Think about it...AROB is awesome, and all the other songs are BETTER than HYSTW, but can you honestly see Green Eyes or Warning Sign as a single? I can't, they're too good.

with all these 6 singles X&Y gotta be one of the most overrated albums of all time

"how can lights ignite your bones?" or "why waiting for bell to ring?"

i couldn't desrcibe X&Y better than "nothing's really making any sense at all"... so let's talk...about their next LP

I don't know...i knew Coldplay put the 'put away' songs into the next album...as Echo, Blasphemy and so on...i dont' know about HYSTW...anyway it's a good song...finger crossed!

I don't know, I'd like a dozen or so songs I haven't heard yet...I love this song, but I want fresh stuff!

Maybe HYSTW is just the first step, sort of leading us into LP4. I suppose we'll jsut have to wait and see.

I agree. If HYSTW is the darker direction Coldplay is aiming for, then it's going to be pretty impressive. HYSTW live is amazing, I think because of it's raw straight to the point lyrics. A speech sort of set to song. The words are powerful and then reinforced with the instruments. I want more!

hmm i someone mentioned this would be a good title for the DVD "How we see the world" but yeah i agree with what someone said before, the 4th album is so far away..... i dont want to even starting thinking about it now
