Hi i was just wondering what the additional lyrics were to this song, on the live dvd. I have the dvd which i believe shows the lyrics, but its at home and im all the way up at school. if you could help that'd be great!!!! i just love what they did to that song! the perfect finale

When it comes to the Live 2003 version, the lyrics I posted above are definately right....however, I have heard other versions and Chris sounds like he's bluffing his way through it haha.

Which live version is this from? Because I know the lyrics I posted above are correct for the 2003 live DVD but I have heard other versions where they don't fit.:confused:

I've been watching the Live 2003 DVD tonight and it ends with Life is For Living, a short song, but one that has no lyrics (although it's listed) or any other link on the official Coldplay site. And if you search for it here, you won't find anything.

Yet for me, the concert performance and the lyrics of Life is For living are, in capsule form, what Coldplay is all about.

I don't believe there is any mention of a cave in the song? It logically wouldn't fit and has nothing to do with the content of the song. I listened to the live version 2002 at Gavonberry (sorry my spelling sux) and to me it sounds like it goes a something like this:

Long live Coldplay but go back to your roots the first albums were definately best in my book, AROBTTH and Parachutes (as the best put album in hit play, let play all the way through, repeat)

yeah i doubt the lyric is "cave." I agree that it has absolutely no place in the song and doesn't sound like something chris martin would come up with. "Googling it" doesn't really mean shit either because the source can obviously be unreliable, like some little 14 year old gir. Haha, cave? are you kidding?? jesus.
