well, yeah i'm very happy about the laws here in germany.

how old are you btw, Rolle?

about smoking... yeah, i mean... who hasn't tried to smoke a fag yet?

i smoked on regular bases a while ago, but it really is too expensive (almost 5€/pack).

i probably just smoked because i thought it calmed me down. still have a pack in my bag. don't know why i'm carrying it around though.

Yeah..the laws are pretty strict here.

Aand i'm 16 so just the perfect age to come to Germany for a vacation :p

It costs about the same in Finland..so expensive.

But we also have smaller packs that cost about 2 euros or so

I've never smoked regularly..although i've this small pack..i bought it about 2 months ago.

So no..i sure don't smoke a lot.

Sometimes when i feel like it i go to sit and have a smoke on the balcony at night. It's pretty cool to sit there alone when everywhere is just so quiet..

^ exactly. that's what i mean with calming down.

it's kinda relaxing to smoke. you just sit down on a let's say a bench and enjoy your environment.

however. you're always welcomed ;)

we'll go through a few bars when i'm 16 too, okay?

Yah. But the relaxing side of it can get a bit broken if you suddenly start to cough because of the cigarette :uhoh:

Awwe, thanks :nice:! You're welcome too to come in Finland!

Although there isn't too much to do in here.. I can ask my brother to buy us a bottle of beer or so

I'd love to check out what Frankfurt's bars are like :laugh1: It's kinda obvious that they're way better than in Kuopio..

finland seems very interesting (especially in winter as i already mentioned somewhere before)! i'm so gonna go to finland someday! :sneaky:

where exactly is Kuopio?

the only towns i know are Helsinki and Espoo ...

sure, the bars in frankfurt are alright. i've only been there to drink non-alcoholic drinks. :dozey:

(gooood, why the heck are they all spamming the lounge at the moment?!)

Wow..i'm suprised that you know Espoo :stunned:

Kuopio is about in the middle

There you go

I was just wondering the same..

Well, they have to get tired of it sometime so they (hopefully) will stop spamming eventually

hehe.

i know Espoo because Kimi was born there.

lol.

Kuopio is very central indeed...

so are there any sights located in Kuopio?

(yeah, let's just hope they'll go to bed soon :laugh3: )

Haha..i knew there was some story behind it :p

Well..we have Puijo Tower where you can see the entire Kuopio ( i think)

Oh and our market place is the biggest in Finland (uh, something to be proud of)

An some famous writers are from Kuopio so you can go to see their old houses and stuff.

Kuopio is surrounded by lakes so you can go on a little cruise on the lake. It's pretty beautiful but it can get pretty boring too..

And then there is the World's biggest smoke sauna

I'm suprised that i could think of that many things..

saunas. that's what crosses many people's minds when they think of finland. such a cliché! :D

just read that Kuopio is also famous for Kalakukko!

oh, i'd love to speak finnish ... the words are all so funny. hehe.

Haha, yeah i know..it's so funny see people in movies and tv in saunas..they all look so ridicilous. True finns are always nude!

In saunas i mean :uhoh:

okayyy..that has nothing to do anything

Oh myy! How could i forget kalakukko??! :wreck:

That's like..terrible..no one forgets kalakukko..

i hate it though, but anyways!

And liquorice too! I've heard that people from other countries don't really like it :\

i like liquorice!

:) and i've heard it was healthy.

so... three cheers for liquorice.

never tried kalakukko.

never had the chance anyway. :(

gotta try it when i'm in finland. hehehe.

ahh... another thing finland is famous for are all the metal bands. :D

like Nightwish and HIM... though HIM is not metal.

or Lordi and The Rasmus.

gotta admit that i liked "In The Shadows" or however that song was called :uhoh:

Never try kalakukko..never.

I've warned you

Oh yes..metal!

I don't consider The Rasmus as a metal band though.

I loved them when they were younger and i still like their old stuff

I was quite a fan when i was 12 :p

And about Nightwish..it's kinda dead band now..Tarja is gone, so..what can i say. It's like Coldplay without Chris. I never liked her that much, but it's gonna be a HUGE change after she's gone

I also like HIM's old stuff.

Haha, i seem to like everyones old stuff..just like coldplay's

Btw, have you heard about this swedish DJ called Basshunter and his new song called Boten Anna?

It's like huge in here atm..and it's so ridicilous..oh god

mhh... don't know a lot about Nightwish.

I only know that i don't like them.

but yeah, "Join Me (In Death)" was a great song. i think it was even number one here in germany. great track. indeed.

but all the other HIM songs sound very alike.

love the heartagramm symbol though!

The Rasmus had a number 1 here as well ("In The Shadows"). mhh... and the collaboration with Ville Vallo was quite successful too ("Bittersweet").

oh yeah, and Lordi had a top 10 hit too with "Hard Rock Halleluja".

hehehe. think that Lordi is funny somehow... .

no, i don't know that song... but i think that Therese mentioned it in a thread a while ago.

it's some kinda party song, isn't it?

Well, about a year ago the rest of the band kicked the singer out of the band.

It's true about HIM's songs..it's really hard to say which song is which..

Yeh, i've heard that The Rasmus is doing really good in Germany and in central europe. And as far as i know they've been touring there a lot last year

Lordi is just..hah..i was really happy that they won the eurovision but seriously..they're kinda ridicilous too

Here is the music video for the song..hahah..it's sung in swedish but it has english subtitles

edit: It really is a party song..parteeeh

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6880888700625496919

hehe. i've just watched that "Boten Anna" video before you posted it.

so... it is a song about a robot called Anna?

now that makes sense!

hope that dude is just a one hit wonder.

don't like such songs because they don't make any sense and cheaply made...

reminds me of "Blue" by Eiffel 65... (you remember that one?!?!)

what's the actual difference between finnish and swedish?

do the swedish speak finnish as well and vice versa?

mhh... The Rasmus is pretty popular, but not as popular as HIM.

haven't heard anything from both for a long time...

Haha ookkay :p

Well, do you know this program called IRC? it was shown on his pc.

Well anyways, they have botts over there just like we've mods here, so it was a song about this girl called Anna who was a bot and then one day she told that she's not a bot and she's just a normal girl

His album is called "LOL ^_^"

His just so bright boy!

Yes..i do remember Blue..hahha  "I'm blue diipadaapadi diipadaa! I've got a house with blue windows!"

Swedish and Finnish are so different!

Swedish is more like english, germany, dutch and so on

But finnish..it's not really related to any language.. only maybe hungary but finnish really is so different from all other languages.

And i think it would be so hard to try to learn finnish..so it's nice to be able to speak it without learning!

wow, i bet he's just a computer nerd. :dozey:

mh... so why is the swedish song so famous in finland?

it's the same with german. it's a very difficult language. i feel really sorry for the people who have to learn it when they come here or the ones that learn german at school.

but is it true that swedish is spoken in some parts of finland?

He sure is..and that's why it's so popular here. Finland is the land of lakes and nerds

Usually we just hate swedish people. No one really knows why, but it always has been so. And main reason is when we get beaten by them..it sucks like so hard! It's the worst thing to happen

When we won the eurovision even the people who hosted the finnish show said "Oh yes! finally we beated those swedish!! Yaay! That was the only thing that mattered!"

Yea, there are people here who speak swedish. They are called "finland's swedish" in finnish and "finlands svenska" in swedish ( why did i know that ?) Most of them live in south finland and on the west coast.

And we have to study swedish at school too. Actually i'm having my swedish test on tuesday..uugh..i so don't want to study

hehe.

some rivalry going on between you two.

i suppose swedish is much easier than finnish.

the test shouldn't be too hard then ;)

good luck!

damn, that eurovision, but the swedish entry did suck.

so... goooo Lordi!!!

hahaha "Finland - the land of lakes and nerds" :laugh3:

ahhhh... gotta go now. seriously. it's already 2:10 am here (and 3:10 am in finland, right? YOU SHOULD GO TO BED!).

i have to watch the race and therefor i need to get up at 7 am... today (oh fuck it i don't have any time to sleep).

fingers crossed for the cutest finn ever (hahahaha , i know you probably disagree).

gooooood night, Rolle!!!

it was soooo nice to talk to you!

You sure got the point there about finland and sweden

It was nice talking to you too. But no..i'm not supposed to be in bed yet.. :uhoh:

Although i overslept yesterday because i was on th pc too long :(

Well..he is cute sometimes..but no..not always :p

Hope to get a good race tomorrow (today?)
