Waiting in the airport

sitting in Chicago airport waiting for our much delayed flight to LA. Been a long day, got up at 3 am in Chicago to fly --> Toronto, played a cozy festival there and had some delightful food then flew --> Chicago where we are now; and are expecting to arrive in the city of angels around 4 am.. feeling slightly tired now, and bored as there is not much to do here and all the shops and food stands are closed. I am sitting next to Doctor Watts who is reading his book with a serene and doctor-like look on his pretty face. Hey if you are into the twitter thing have a look at twitter.com/mewwire. the second one is lovely ... I must say that I am bit weirded out by the first minute and half of the first one LMAO! B looks drunk or something and the shot of Jonas' crotch ... not necessary I must say :shocked2:

Mew, on the other hand, deliver a stolid set of synth-soaked shoegaze that would be incredibly off-putting if these Danes didn't balance their dream-pop with a healthy dose of Can-like experimentalism. Aside from a few hardcore fans, the angular rhythms and dense textures seem to be floating over the heads of this audience, literally.
