Sep 09. On tour through the fascinating land of america.

 

Friends and strangers, please.

ok, here we are in this beautiful city named san francisco, and oh

golly, is it lovely! the streets curve here, up and down, in and out

of the hills that are shaped like the tender bodies of blooming

women. walking here is their caresses to the soles of your feet. the

air is fresh here and often misty, evoking in you sleeping longings.

the wooden houses are beautiful with high self esteem: you dont find

buildings like this anywhere else in the world! and as im am writing

this, im am being served delicious food at one of the great local

restaurants. everything is so good here, that even the indie stadium

concert audiences amaze u !!

there is however one thing that really casts a shadow over this good

city. it has materialized on the body of the city like an open wound.

the homeless. i know it is a general problem in america, but it just

becomes so obvious when you go to SF. how come the worlds richest ?

country cannot protects its citizens better from this terrible

poverty? i dont believe the " they are too lazy to work or its their

own fault " rethoric. living on the streets no one chooses.

 

their destiny america wears like a badge of shame.

From Mexico (sorry for the delay, HQ)

 

oh my goth, is it raining in mexico city! is it rain season here? do

they even have a rain season here? i really wouldnt know for sure. no

and yes would be my guess.

 

( crazy loud THUNDERr outside. let me open the window.. )

 

well, so here we are. after having been around the american

continent, it is now the south americans turn to feel some love.

first i wanna say thanks to all the great crowds who greeted us in

these past weeks in america. i wanna thank my mother and.. no

seriously, u frengers were great and we were happy to do the dance

for u.

 

right now, here in mexico city, i am reading a great book about

DEATH ( u know how to fully appreciate life u have to fully

appreciate and embrace the concept of death RIGHT?? )

its called THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING , its by joan didion. this

has now been put forward.

 

( BOOM )

 

in a few hours we will go to the show in the city. should be a lot of

fun, i heard the mexican audiences are pretty flawless. i gotta say

the amos were pretty great too, so i am hereby putting a little

pressure on the mexs. u can do it. cant u?

I've been starting school, work and mourning over my crappy computer. I did however try to visit this site via cell... didn't work out too well. :uhoh:

well there's this whole deal about them giving us one video every two weeks to a total of 4 vids. we have to make connections b/w them and for each connection that is correct, we get a new song.

I've made a wise decision to not be a fangirl anymore. (Or at least try not to be...) I'm also not going to be "Mew-Queen" anymore. At least not for a long time... :\ SO I won't be visiting the Coldplaying Mew-related threads much anymore.

Yeah, but I'll get over it.

 

I just have an overall feeling of hopelessness every other day... I could have a great day... and still feel unhappy by the end of it.

 

And when I have a crappy day, I'm completely miffed. :\

 

 

 

edit: It's actually quite sudden this time around but due to additional stress with a new job and school. I don't handle stress very well, and I often let that get me down.

I do not know what to say except for HUGS!

It's just my hangup and I need to get over it. I intend to be an Oncologist and go to Med school... If I'm this upset over the stress of life now... How on Earth will I make it through that?

But Mew still makes me happy every now and then, I don't listen to them anywhere near as much anymore... but I still love them. I just won't have time for these forums much anymore.

 

And with the loss of all the data I had on Mew on my computer, I just don't see myself ever catching up anyway. So it'd be less of a distraction.

I understand, sometimes you just need to take a breather. Take it slowly!

I'm feeling a bit better now, actually. :)
