Hey, I'm now downloading a load of Mew albums, never listened to them before but I think I'll like them as I love Sigur Ros :) Just wondering though... why is their album artwork so awful? The first one is nice, the second one is okay, and then it's all hideous :\

I love the Triumph artwork, and the Comforting Sounds single cover is just amazing.

Yeah, their album artworks aren't always pretty. Kites has got to be one of the ugliest covers ever. :P Good job the music inside is incredible, so that we forgive them :D

Am I the only one who doesn't think that Mew's album artwork is ugly? I mean, I guess the cover of NMS is kinda shocking at first, but I can't imagine the albums with any other kind of artwork, really. To me it really suits the music and feel for each album. Plus they're kinda fun to look at, haha.

 

I am obsessed with Drown at the moment. It's just so beautiful. And...haunting. (Dunno if that's the right word, but it's the only one that seems to fit.) This and Killer probably affect me the most out of the b-sides...Like Paper Cuts, too.
