OMG more coldplay first mutton with clocks now lisa with see you soon. was beautiful of corse everyone loved it aswell which is good. that lisa girl must really like coldplay cos on some footage of her playing her guitar I remember her playing fix you. what did everyone else think of it.

yeah i just saw that too lol i don't know, i liked it but the judges were too much. it's hard for me to be objective since see you soon is one of my favorite cp tracks so i'm tough on anyone who sings that song. lisa was ok, not great but not bad either. she did do a good job nonetheless.

true. her vocals were ok but sometimes she dragged them too long or either missed the beat they were meant to be sung. but lisa really is not a fav for me, in fact i hope she is voted out next so i'm biased.

This girl was the one i disliked most through the whole comp so i sorta wanted her to fail miserably but she didnt...she was ok. :shocked2: I hope she leaves.

I knew Lisa was going to be singing See You Soon but I couldn't be bothered watching the whole show to see it when I knew it would be on Youtube lol.

In the UK, there have been very few indeed.

In fact, the only ones to have really succeeded are:

 

Will Young from the first series of Pop Idol UK(three albums to date).

Lemarr (R&B/soul singer from "Fame (Lame) Academy" (he didn't win it).

Girls Aloud (from the one-off series "Pop Stars - The Rivals").

 

All the others have pretty much sunk without trace.

this is only the 4th season os aussie idol and there has been very few success stories.

 

season 1 (2003) the winner was guy sebastian, with runner up shannon noll, both have done pretty well since, although shannon noll has become much popular imo and released lasting songs like what about me etc.

seasons 2 (2004) the winner was casey donovan (don't worry if you don't know her because few would here too) she hasn't done much since her victory, just faded a w a y.

the runner up was anthony callea and he has done much better. he had a hit with the remake the prayer and continues to make songs but they are slow to surface.

seasons 3 (2005) hm, the winner, cate and runner up have joined with previous contestants from other seasons to form a band called the young divas. not much of a fan myself but they are currently doing good with the charts.

but time will tell. personally i think this year, aussie idol is much better.

Well then it remains to be seen whether any of them will have sustained success.;)

It wasn't bad....I wasn't thrilled with her delivery, especially the choruses, but overall, not bad...and she is gorgeous.

She plays guitar well, but with her vocals she has really little range. I thought she did really well anyway cause the song suited her vocals.

I know its really little, but it annoyed me how she kept say 'through the telescope lens' when the lyrics are 'in the telescope lens' arent they?

 

Go Bobby! hes totally different to everyone else who has ever been on the show and he seems to have no problems with they way he is.

Go Damien!!! :) He's been my hands down fav from the start...But I'm disappoited Bobby got voted out.....but i CANT STAND Ricky...he drives me insane..he has to go!!!!

The music and arrangments were pretty good, but her voice is pretty unremarkable. Her overall delivery was not well done.
