Just say how you feel!!!! What are you doing when you hear a special song for you??;)
Lera
That may sound stupid but the best way for me to understand music is just sit/lay down, close my eyes, relax and listen. I mean, if I hear song for the first time I get it better if I don't type/write/eat/read/whatever at the moment... I believe I'm just a bit retarded :anxious:

ColdMike
Music is a part of me, now... I can't help me to listen to music, whatever it is (coldplay is the best, but I like changing a bit...). Music is the basic of my inspiration for writting poems, and it helps me to feel relaxed as you said Lera. Your way of listening to music is really a nice one, cos I do it as much as I can! When I listen to a band for the first time, I forget completely the song.... Then, at the second/third/fourth/fifth listening, I get more into the songs, I get each different variation, each tone, I'm swallowed by the song... it's really great. I'm like an empty thing and my mind left!
anna111
i don't know how i would live without listening to music! i can't live a day without listening to any music...i guess i could try but i would probably just fail... or i would start singing and listen to myself :P
green eyes88
some music just touches my heart, like when u listen to a song and it makes u feel all sorts of things- if it's sadness, or happiness, or nostalgia just cause some songs remind me of things from the past because i listened to them alot in the past and now I connect between music and events... like i hear about all sorts of ppl who listen to kelly clarkson, fergie and the whole top 20... I mean- how could u get all the emotion from that?? It makes me feel like they're missing out on something.... but i dunno, they're either really shallow and get emotional with superficial top 20 like music, or... they just dont get it either way... they're missing out on something sorry, i really cant explain it
Bournerlin
That's right: I mean you don't have to concentrated on one genre of music, but it's always better for me to find my music-lifestyle! To live without music would be impossiple it would me make thick and I would forget everything which happended in the past because music reminds me of wonderful events especially when you always wanted to do something or to be in a favourite place you can always think of it while listening to music! Nobody can steal your memories.... for me music is life and my life is music....the things belong together....and I woul say the same that it isn't a waste of time to stop with everything and to concentrate on your music and everything around isn't relevant....it is wonderful!!! I don't care and Lera you also shouldn't care what the others say---- that's our lives!!!:guitarist:
Guest Grace
like i hear about all sorts of ppl who listen to kelly clarkson' date=' fergie and the whole top 20... It makes me feel like they're missing out on something.... but i dunno, they're either really shallow and get emotional with superficial top 20 like music, or... they just dont get it[/color'] either way... they're missing out on somethingt yeah, i don't get it when people come up to me and tell me they couldn't live without music and then they claim they listen to Sean Paul and all that crap. hello?! wtf?! that's not music to me. i couldn't live without music. well, of course i could, but i guess i'd be a total different person. music is ... perfect. you have a bunch of songs you connect with certain events and billions of songs that reflect your opinion and emotions. and yeah, i'd say music changed me a lot. my opinion and the way i behave... Oenona
Music is a part of my life and makes me feel better when I listen to it...it's like a medicine that cheers me up. :nice: like i hear about all sorts of ppl who listen to kelly clarkson, fergie and the whole top 20... I mean- how could u get all the emotion from that?? It makes me feel like they're missing out on something.... but i dunno, they're either really shallow and get emotional with superficial top 20 like music, or... they just dont get it either way... they're missing out on something I don't think it's a question of being shallow, but they are very influenced persons who are not really interested in music. And of course, I can understand they get excited in a strong way even if they listen to their beloved "superficial" songs. Honestly, I don't have to hear a great song (or deep, or call it whatever) for getting excited, it depends on the moment... and I don't think I'm missing something for liking even those songs. maiu
I can't live without music, listening to a good new song or album excites me and listening a classic over and over again while relaxing fills my life. I don't actually listen to music all the time, if I start with an album I have to make sure I'll be able to finish it.

bedofroses
I have to listen to some sort of music everyday, most of it is done at the computer as the internet is my source of music, bands etc. Otherwise i listen on my ipod, say at school or before i go to sleep at night perhaps, when i want to feel better. I think another favorite way to listen to it is driving around an area with minimal traffic and turning it up really REALLY loud with the windows up...(unless the weather is nice...then windows down). It makes you feel totally immersed in the music. Like it's surrounding you completely and you hear every bit of. Granted, you have to have a great sound system
