November 17, 200619 yr These things are reported all the time and whatever you say you can't say what happened there was exactly right, can you? Come on... It wasnt right what happened, but you make it sound like a sinister government upto something rather then a couple of cops going on a ego trip and getting a kick out of it. You werent there either so you have no idea what really happened before. For all we know he couldve been really abusive to them.

You make a great point, we only get a shady baised side of the events that lacks alot. He could have done more the get in trouble and yes what the moron cops did was wrong but we dont know if the people were innocent either.
November 17, 200619 yr Author If everybody had your attitude then we would soon be in alot more trouble. Rather than condemn the disgusting action you would rather make the case for it's insignificance. I'd really like to see your reaction it it had been you getting that sort of evil treatment......because I feel it would be a 360 turn around from your current stance.

He could have done more the get in trouble and yes what the moron cops did was wrong but we dont know if the people were innocent either.[/quote'] No he doesn't, he makes a rubbish point because all the witnesses have said they saw no altication and even the officers involved have cited that he only caused their duties to be disrupted by not allowing the I.D check.
November 17, 200619 yr This is really another example of prisonplanet making a mountain out of a mole-hill.

November 17, 200619 yr This is really another example of prisonplanet making a mountain out of a mole-hill. You're spot on If you consider how many hundreds of millions of run in americans have with police the amount of times this happens is very low.
November 17, 200619 yr All prisonplanet and you do is try and create mass hysteria about the US government.
November 17, 200619 yr All prisonplanet and you do is try and create mass hysteria about the US government. Based on very rare cases that are not the norm, its pathetic.
November 17, 200619 yr Author NOT IT ISN'T....Your both really having a laugh right? Every story would then be pointless if you want to think like that.....when you see someone killed on the tv news you might as well think think "ah, well, loads of people die anyway...that has been blown out of proportion". But that doesn't happen in your minds because it's 'reported on tv or in a paper that's being going for years'....... Jesus, it's like the figging twilight zone here sometimes..you should hate this sort of stuff.....what ever happened to your back-bone? I'm only posting this and I really shouldn't care what a couple of petulant nobody's think....I'm sorry but it's true....in my eyes your are becoming worthless entities.

Jesus, it's like the twightlight zone here sometimes..you should hate this sort of stuff.....what ever happened to your back-bone? even if there was a few thousand cases of this, compared to the tens if NOT hundreds of millions of run ins with cops thats a very small amount of cases thus it is very rare. We hate this type of thing, but we know its not the norm or common. We never said anything positive about what happaned, they cops fucked up , well in the first one, not as much in the last article. We use intelligence OVER crying about this, because we know it does not happen often. Now if it did, there'd be a problem.
November 17, 200619 yr Author No, I don't think this particular event happens everyday. But it's not once in a blue moon. However, It's too many times for my liking.
November 17, 200619 yr No, I don't think this particular event happens everyday. But it's not once in a blue moon. However, It's too many times for my liking. Crime happens alot in america, yet most americans arent criminals....and its not even happening any wheres close to that, out of hundreds of millions of cases this has happaned what maybe a few HUNDRED times? i'd like for it to never happen, but simple common since shows its going ot happen sometimes given the number of people in america.
November 17, 200619 yr If we applied this type of thinking we'd all be in danger of getting the bird flu or dying from a cold.....if it was a very common thing, we'd have a problem but its extremely rare, thus its only a small problem. more pressing issues are out there.
November 17, 200619 yr Author ' They are only supposed to tazer someone when they're an immediate threat. The guy in the incident was being harassed by Police, and obviously made a bad move when he started yelling at the Officers The Police aren't supposed to escalate a situation when there's no need......e.g. as in this case grabbing a student who's already been told to leave and is actually walking towards the exist. Thes officers were either badly trained & unskilled, or had something against students, or maybe this student in particular. Police had better start watching how they are acting. If they keep this up, they'll find their backs against the wall sooner rather than later. This was harassment, nothing else. Random ID checks, needless in this situation.
November 17, 200619 yr Here's our Patriot Act. Here's our FUCKING Patriot Act. I saw this this morning. I'm disgusted and horrified. Still.
November 17, 200619 yr Here's our Patriot Act. Here's our FUCKING Patriot Act. I saw this this morning. I'm disgusted and horrified. Still. The patriot act causes extremely rare occasion for cops to lose their cool? man  Next a cop might break the law and shoot someone for drug money and he'll be accused of being apart of the patriot act and we'll have ot worry about police wanting drug money...
November 17, 200619 yr Here's our fucking system of justice, then. One of the best in world, sadly a few cops fuck up on a ego trip and mess up.
November 17, 200619 yr Author Next a cop might break the law and shoot someone for drug money and he'll be accused of being apart of the patriot act and we'll have ot worry about police wanting drug money... Again!! FOR GODS SAKE!! We aren't talking about THAT happening!!!....why must you always invent situations to then attack us on principles based around your created situation? It's like your trying attribute "a cop shooting a drug dealer is all wrong" to me.....when I for one haven't even mentioned that. What I have talked about is the topic of this thread, where police absolutely violated their power and it's disgusting.
November 17, 200619 yr I had to stop the clip at the middle of it. I couldn't watch it any longer. This happened to him for not showing his id? I can't imagine what would happen to me since I never carry my id around and I hate it when you have to be checked for anything..
November 17, 200619 yr I'm not sure if this was discussed before, but I read today that the student was Iranian-American. I think that makes it all relevent.
