Couple celebrate a bright Christmas

By CLAIRE BATES Last updated at 11:32am on 8th December 2006

It would be fair to say that Bernie and Denise Lumsden from Bristol like to celebrate the festive season...a lot.

In the name of Christmas cheer the couple have decorated their house with 40,000 bulbs in a dazzling display, which must rack up an impressive electricity bill. Inside they have also abandoned the concept of 'tasteful touches', festooning their living room with tinsel, teddy bears and even a snowman.

Wonder what the neighbours think?

what a waste of money.

And energy!!

It represents everything that's bad about Christmas.

It's so incredibly tacky, it makes you want to

Its lovely and its great to see people get in the spirit of Christmas.

Stop being Killjoys.

If they were my neighbours, i'd let them do my house as well!!

i enjoy seeing houses decorated with lights and stuff for christmas ... but there is such thing as going over the top :\

Imagine their electricity bill! :shocked2:
