Uncle Henry's Tea-Pot

Quote taken from a James May Review of said car.

I still drive a 205, although I'm looking for a new second-hand car, either a Skoda Fabia or a last-generation Corolla

Ford Ka still :wink3:

Oh,comeback for that Ian?

During 3 days, my friend and I rented a car.

We got a Ford Focus 2007 automatic gearbox.

I'm not sure about the engine, or the gearbox.

But I looked through internet, and I found out 2.0 130hp AT with 4 gears...

It's a good car, not really economical, because I felt like the tank was getting empty quite quickly.

It was the second time I drive an automatic gearbox.

^Yeah it was getting empty quickly because your foot is heavy!!

An Opel Vectra TD (Vauxhall for UK). It's comfortable and nice to drive.

My car history:

When I was 14 I got given an old:

Which had failed it's MOT and would cost a bloody lot to fix up to pass, to drive on private land on, before some person paid £50 for it, then I got a:

Again, a MOT failure on rust, for practising. It lasted until I was 16 before I got myself a:

As a little runabout until I turned 17 where my first official car was a

Before moving onto my current 205.

What's your car history?

*awaits the typical skoda jokes*

1.9 TDI with 100 horsepower, quite a few toys and with a full service history, the only downsize is that it's an ex-copper car

nice car :D :D

I still just drive my bike :uhoh:

It's a nice car, and a shame I can't drive it yet :(

It has no tax, but the only method of which a new keeper can buy a tax-disc is to visit the local dvla office/post office, however those ain't open until Monday. But to get a tax disc you need either your insurance or a cover note, both need to be original, of which I won't get neither until at least Wednesday :(

boooo

at least you'll drive it soon :wacky:

I drove it part of the way back from London today.

On Trade Plates

You go girl :cool3:

We're helping the environment by biking, ha! And it keeps you fit as well.

Ah, bikes are such great things!

Not when you have shopping or live in a hilly area

Mwah, my city is full of hills, i tell you and it's not that bad at all! ;)

It's a bit harder with shopping though, but not impossible!

Aw, i used to live in a small village and i found it funny to bike in forests and stuff. Mostly on roads anyway. And yeah, those were roads without asphalt.

But yeah, i guess it would be a bit annoying to drive on such roads like all the time. Watching out for holes etc.
