:( he passed away last night, in his sleep....many of you remember him from his role, as Atticus Finch in 'To Kill A Mockingbird'.... aww l was so sad, he was the sweetest actor :(

Its so sad. He was a really great actor! Roman Holiday is one of my favorite movies and did such a wonderful job in it.

yes! l remember that! :( he was like 78, and he wasnt even one of those sleezy jerk actors!! :(

he was so sweet!! and I LOVE the book, To Kill A Mockingbird!

To Kill A Mockingbird was a wonderful book. And Gregory Peck did a wonderful job in that as well. I was just reading about how respectable he was and led a life w/o scandel. You can say that much for the Hollywood of today. :(

yes l know, although l am not a fan of the gossip and bold actors and their lives..BUT....l am a fan of actors from an older generation, they seemed more genuine. Marlon Brando was immensly handsome and he was a good actor...HOWEVER he always cheated...and had two children WITH TWO women  out of wedlock! one was a native american (indian) and the other was hawiian....

awwww thats way bad...he was awsome in to kill a mockingbird..wierd i was thinking about that movie today

my condolences for whoever he is related or friends with  ALTHOUGH he meant loads to me....l'm sure he meant EVEN MORE to people who knew him

I loved To Kill A Mockingbird and Roman Holiday. Man, they don't make movies like that anymore.

He'll be missed. :(

hehe i was talking to somebody about this earlier, and yes, it is kind of sad, but he was 87, so it's not particularly tragic.
