The Roman Catholic Church sentenced the entire population of Netherlands to death for heresy.

 

I just thought I'd mention that. It's a good thing it never went through.

the roman catholic church has given a real bad name to christianity with their decrees and death penaltys, etc

sorry if i wasted your time, but i thought some people might be surprised to learn this like i was.

Catholocism is hardly Christianity at all.Look at their practices;look at the Bible(and not their humanly-developed book)-look at the Bible,and you'll see how flawed their beliefs and practices are.Catholocism is mainly about praise and glory to the hierarchy.I mean,just read through the Catholic church's history-mainly the Roman Catholics-you will see how self-gratifying the head honchos were.

 

 

Anyways,yes,I am thankful it didn't go through;but I'm glad they actually exposed themselves to the world by simply sentencing those people
