I live in Chicago, I'm sure there is quite a few local publications around here that would be interested (sadly, I don't know of anyone who works for them)... Are their any local Chicago artists on the CD besides me? Last I checked, my bands song "don't stop" was part of the compilation... we could put together a press release about the CD and list any local musicians included which would make sending a press release to Chicago publications more relevant... As for a release party, I've been daydreaming about that for weeks. But it would be a logistical nightmare getting everyone in one place...not to mention expensive. I'm secretly hoping someone with a big heart and ALOT of money picks up on this and gives us a hand;) , but I wouldn't hold my breath. It looks like the word's getting out fast!
