When I get dragged into slightly spiky debates I always try and still make a valid point - no matter how much pointless swearing has occurred in the post. It's only because I care, honestly.

But you don't just post to call someone names. There's usually a reason for your posts. And you're right. I haven't seen much real nastiness around here lately. True. But sometimes ignorance can be an excuse. There's also a language barrier. I had a go with someone on here a few months ago because I thought they were being highly insulting, and it turned out they didn't speak alot of english. What they said sounded patronizing to me even though they thought they were just being matter-of-fact. If you talk things out instead of jumping to conclusions, it makes life alot easier.

Yeah I didn't appreciate that comment at all. At least I stuck up for you Rick. I know you can make some not nice (but often humerous) comments about Marek but I don't think you cross the line.

Am I a careful with what I write? Not really.. whatever I write it's whatever it comes out. (Most of it is just plain silly). I don't get scared if I don't get any respond... I'm used to talking to myself now:laugh3:

As a member of this forum, I really do hope people don't feel pressured on what to write. This is an open forum and if you simply can't get along with someone just use the ignore option. Lord knows I can be annoyed as well sometimes..:dozey: :laugh3: I come here to relax and chit-chat with people, talk about Coldplay and some other stuff. I don't come with the intentions of name calling people and see who I can get angry for my own fun and I hope no else does.

it depends on what mood i'm in to be honest. sometimes i'll be pretty careful with my wording and make my post seem very fair; even though i may be feeling extremely pissed off because i know in an hour i'll go back and think "what the hell am i on about?" and in that hour i could've possible upset people for no reason. other times i'll be feeling happy-go-lucky and post things i wouldn't do otherwise, but for the most part i like to keep my posts straight to the point. i don't criticise or annoy anyone unless i am provoked and even then i don't do it in a 'in your face' way.

 

[btw i've been a part of a few forums and this is the best one so far, there are others that have completely turned me off going there for anything else besides that band, kinda a shame really]
