Yes - the Canadian radio stations drove me nuts when I was in B.C. I remember that at the time most of the stations were rock or country with never the twain meeting!!:rolleyes:

Our' good' rock station actually plays some decent music...on average 2 or 3 songs a day,lol. They changed the content regulations a few years ago, so radio stations have no choice, but they've complied reluctantly. (WHen the CRTC upped Canadian content requirement to 35%, programmers whined that there wasn't enough quality Canadian music to fulfill the requirement...BOLLOCKS!)

THere are some great rap songs, imo, Jesus Walks by Kanye West is genius. I have a friend who is a rapper, so I'm trying to make myself listen to a bit more rap, so i can actually enjoy myself at his shows,lol.;)

i would ask my cousin, he's a complete crazy hip-hop/rap fan, but he listen spanish bands, them are more like regetton.. oh well i hate this music, them are too sexist. :angry:

THat's ok. I've had AMAZING luck getting into cp shows, so I can't complain about missing others.:)

They were in HAlifax for the Junos last year but I didn't feel like dishing out $90 or whatever it was to hear one song. And you could not pay me to see Nickleback and Black Eyed Peyes with in 12 hours. Thats just brutal.
