Cold over Gwyneth

Featured Replies

Why has everyone decided that this is true? Hello it was from 'The Sun'. I've read messages on the coldplay mb from people who were there and during the scientist someone shouted out 'Gwyneth's a lucky lady' and Chris didn't storm out or end the session he just laughed and said it was the funniest thing he'd ever heard. Not everything in the paper is true you know  And even if it was it would be b/c he wants the focus from the media to be on his music, his band and his bandmates, not his love-life.

*rant over* :x

I think that they're taking themselves too seriously. I mean' date=' honestly, maybe about 5 out of the 1000 care about the relationship. I find it stupid that they'd threaten to cut it short, now come on.[/quote']yeah i agree. instead of baning the hole gweneth-conversationtopic why not just simply answer 'no comments' to any questions in that order. or just say at the fist Q: 'I'm really sorry, i'm completely open about everything, but i dont feel like disgussing this matter in these days, just our music and blablabla' you know? that would shorten the hole fuss

I really don't think this is true, I've heard tons of interviews where he's been asked about Gwyneth - it wasn't banned then. He was asked about it at Breakfast with coldplay on KROQ last week and he just laughed and said 'next question'. On a Radio 2 interview a while ago he said 'I was driving to work with my gf', on the mark and lard show he said 'i don't talk about that stuff' - all said v.politely so why suddenly start getting tetchy about it now? I think Chris hasn't got a problem being asked about it, the only reason a ban on questions over Gwyneth would suddenly appear would be if the other guys requested it, b/c it hasn't bothered Chris in the past!

Yeah, don't take anything The Sun says too seriously  or any other tabloid for that matter.

COLDPLAY invited 1,000 fans to meet them after a secret gig – and banned them from talking about CHRIS MARTIN’s fiancée GWYNETH PALTROW.

The boys played to the small audience, which included Gwyneth, at New York’s China Club and invited the crowd to join an open questions-and-answers session afterwards.

But the fans, who had won a radio competition to attend the gig, were warned not to even whisper Gwyneth’s name. A show insider said: “People were told that the band would be completely open about everything – except Gwyneth.

“It was made pretty clear that not only would they not talk about her, it would probably bring the whole Q&A session to an early end if someone mentioned it.”

Is it just me or are the macrobiotic-munching lovebirds taking themselves a little too seriously?
