I've missed 300 tracks

i think this thread is the more 'last.fm problems' thread, if not i'm sorry to be mistaken.

 

ok the total listening count was down a week ago (and i was warned about it before it happened), is back now.. ok.. but today the problem is that a part of the scrobbling it don't register (the page) what i listen on my wpm now :\

 

anybody know why is that? and if so, how to fix the problem?

 

is quite annoying when it happen things like that, it takes long to register some things.. although i don't like so much that it registers absolutelly all that i listen to :uhoh: i feel like it were a spy.

so it means that i am a so music listener freak that i had reached the normal level of listening so it can't keep updating it?

ok as i still have problems since the last down and my new actualization... the scrobbling don't work... i had sent a message to the guy that attends it in spanish, he gave me a link but still i couldn't fixed it myself as at some point this link takes me to an expired link in last.fm spain... so i had to send another message to the tech service of last.fm.. hope the problem will be solved soon. :)

Tried reinstalling last.fm and all that?

 

I suppose you have, but that is what has fixed it for people I know.

hi Martin, well sometimes i still feel a newbie with whatever is related with computers because i'm not as updated as i used to be about it, but from my almost 10 years in the net i think i have enough experience to be complaining for a good reason... i mean:

i had installed last version here 1.5.0 and that's when it begun to fail, just 2 days after last.fm spain was down... (they warned me about this, the down).. i had unistalled this version and installed the old one i had 1.4.2. at first it worked but next sesion it didn't worked.. so today i had sent the first message and he gave me a link and instructions to install the wmp plug-in by myself. but as i've said at the final part of this process i'm taken to an expired link of last so i couldn't install the scrobbling plug-in.. it is not installed on my wmp that's why it doesn't work.... but is strange because when i had installed last.fm it said it was going to install wmp plug-in too :thinking:

 

hope they give me another link so to can install this plug-in by myself. :)

If your having problems, try downloading the latest last.fm software

 

Sorted out my problems :)

i had tried everything until i sent a message to support-help team.. now the problem is fixed :nice:

they told me i could be a problem with BitDefender form Vista.. :uhoh:

 

and i'm with the older version 1.4.2.

 

call me classic but if an old version still works fine i'd prefer it to the new one ;)

 

new versions can always have fails and errors so..

and again it doesn't work properly... it only registers what i listen on the radio station mode :\

 

is doing that since more than a week ago, and i've tried uninstalling it and installing it again even i've tried it installing an older version of the software... i don't know why i think the problem is on the player on my laptop (wmp). :thinking:

argh I have the same problem again....my last fm doesn't connect with the internet anymore..:bigcry:

it happened to me... i don't exactly remember how i fixed it... i think i said how on that thread previously...

 

i remember i had to check my music player (WMP) and able the scrobble option with lastfm.

 

i remember that back then i asked an admin from lastfm, and they told me it uses to happen when we have a new wmp update on our computer. :\

 

i don't care much now, finally i moved to itunes and it works great, if not i use spotify. :)
