Somebody know what effect use jhonny in white shadows live... the ending part ... (I mean in the glastonbury festival ..) .. i don´t know much about effects ...

Sounds like what they use in the beginning of Square One. Delay, for sure. Reverb too probably.

I'm not sure but perhaps he uses that 'slow attack'/volume swell thing on his Line 6 DL4. I haven't got one so I can't verify that. It sounds the same effect that he uses in Spies with heavy tremolo fx. 'And the spies came out of the water...'

Yes .. is the same effect in Square One intro ... but is not a delay sound i think... i don´t know slow attack sound... mmm ???

 

In Spies intro he uses a Ebow .... to get that sound ... and tremolo pedal after...

 

But in White Shadows is a pedal ... because i saw how jhonny plays ... and is the same in Square One

He also uses it in Speed of Sound after the 1st verse, The Hardest Part at about 1:42 'You really broke my heart...oh'. It's a great effect but I think it's one of those things that you can't buy separately. I've tried searching for a slow-attack/volume swell pedal and the only thing I could find was a Boss Slow gear on eBay which is too expensive really (it was discontinued I think).

yes ...in Speed of sound too ... i read that the Dl4 has a effect to slowdown the notes... so i really think now is the dl4 ....
