September 5, 200718 yr nadal lost last night, and i hate him so i'm happy, but peer lost this morning:cry: I'm glad Nadal lost too, as find him far too "aggressive".;) However, I'm even more glad that Henin thrashed Serena Williams, as she is far too aggressive too.;)
September 5, 200718 yr Author I'm glad Nadal lost too, as find him far too "aggressive".;) However, I'm even more glad that Henin thrashed Serena Williams, as she is far too aggressive too.;) yeah, me too. i hate serena
September 6, 200718 yr the more likeable williams won against jankovic, what a match I don't like Venus either, as she also plays in a masculine style and grunts far too much. I wanted Jankovic to win, as she's a very nice person and always smiling. I can only hope Henin takes Venus out (and I don't mean to dinner)!!
September 6, 200718 yr Author i was rooting for jankovic too, but i don't mind venus winning as i do serena, and henin will kill her
September 6, 200718 yr i was rooting for jankovic too, but i don't mind venus winning as i do serena, and henin will kill her Let's hope so.;) And as for Roddick - I told you so.;) The only way he'll ever beat the Fed is if Roger has to retire hurt........................
September 6, 200718 yr Author roddick played one of the best matches i've ever seen him play... the only problem with him right now is that he was born at the wrong time
September 8, 200718 yr Fantastic match between Henin and Venus last night, and I'm delighted to say that the right person won. Henin should now deservedly go on and win the title. She played some unbelievable tennis.:D
September 8, 200718 yr Author i hate henin after she retired against mauresmo in the final, but she's clearly the best player in this tourney and she deserves to win
September 8, 200718 yr Author did any of you see djocovic's impressions of sharapova and nadal after he beat moya the other night? they were histerical
September 8, 200718 yr i hate henin after she retired against mauresmo in the final, but she's clearly the best player in this tourney and she deserves to win You can't hate a player for retiring because of injury. It's stupid to carry on if you can't play, as you can make the injury worse.;)
September 8, 200718 yr did any of you see djocovic's impressions of sharapova and nadal after he beat moya the other night? they were histerical Did the impressions involve a lot of "grunting" noises, by any chance??
September 8, 200718 yr Author a bit... and henin didn't retire cuz of injury, she retired cuz of a stomach ache
September 8, 200718 yr a bit... and henin didn't retire cuz of injury, she retired cuz of a stomach ache It doesn't matter - if you're too ill to play, then you have to retire. Nobody wants to have to retire in a final anyway, so there's no way they would do it unless totally necessary.;)
September 8, 200718 yr Author pete sampras threw up on the back of the court and kept playing, henin looked fine in that match... she shoudl have sucked it up
September 8, 200718 yr pete sampras threw up on the back of the court and kept playing, henin looked fine in that match... she shoudl have sucked it up You have no idea, because you're not her. Nobody passes up the chance of a big title that easily.;)
September 8, 200718 yr i've been sick during matches, i've never retired once There are different degrees of "sick", plus your career doesn't depend on you staying super fit and healthy.
September 9, 200718 yr Author There are different degrees of "sick", plus your career doesn't depend on you staying super fit and healthy. for all you no i'm ranked nationally. :sneaky: (i'm not, but i'm i'm just trying to prove a point) anyway, henin won last night, and federer is up 2 sets to none...
