Battle - Back to Earth

Fellow Coldplay fans may well like another UK band called Battle.

You can hear four songs from their mini-lp 'Back to Earth' at http://www.myspace.com/thisisbattle

Check it out if you like new music

the name of the band sounds like a power metal band (no offense)

Excellent band, they've released one mini-album, "Back To Earth" and their first proper album, "Break the Banks" was released last Monday, September 3rd, featuring the singles "The Longest Time" and "Paper Street". It got 4/10 in the NME (which counts for shit basically).

Standout tracks: the two singles, "North Sea", "Looking for Bullets" and "Sit With Me".

Anyone else a fan?

Oh and no this wasn't already in the band index.

does anyone have their mini EP Back to Earth?

Merged with the other Battle thread.

Never really given them a listen.

I was hooked from the moment i first heard The Longest Time - AMAZING song. This made me buy their mini-album (also very good) and i'm now waiting for their album, Breaks The Banks, to arrive in the post.

i had to give them a listen because all of the hype about this band and their latest release, which got rated pretty high.

i must say, i couldn't find anything interesting and enjoyable on their album.

my .2 cent
