Hi everyone. Don't forget last day to vote :p

No one...it's my gig, er my band's gig...and it was a FUCKING disaster!!! My sob-story is really worth its own thread. The main highway in Ontario, the 401, was backed up and blocked off in places due to the bad weather and a lot of accidents, so it took us nearly 3 hours to get out of Kingston. (normally it takes about 20 mins. to get from my place to the highway.) We finally made it and drove the 45 minutes to Belleville where the show was, but a few KM (That's kilometers, not KM from Coldpplaying,lol) out of town there was an accident that blocked the 401 for another 40 minutes. We finally got to the show, played our asses off, took only 2 10-minute breaks since we were late, and were told at the end of the night that we were losing a quarter of our pay for starting late...LIKE THIS IS OUR FAULT!!!!! LIKE WE HAVE WEATHER-CONTROL POWERS!!!:veryangry::veryangry::veryangry:

 

On top of that, they wouldn't turn the heat up at the venue, so I now have a cold and haven't slept because I cough every time I'm almost asleep!

 

Sorry for the rant, but it actually helped a bit.!:)

And on a lighter note, this thread's doing surprisingly well for something that didn't even have a point,lol.:lol:

Seriously though the only real alternative route takes 10 minutes longer, I can cut cross-country, but the lanes are covered in muddy leaves.
