Its the 24th and my parents are out to buy my pressie today!! Plus mum wants to get me back into asking Santa for things so she can "Save money" this year....pfft!

Well, you know - they're hard to miss when you live alone!! I suppose I could go hide them ,pretend I'm santa, and go retrieve them.. Better to give than to receive when you're our age anyhow:santa2::santa2::santa2::santa3::elf::elf::thumbsup:.

My mum buys presents for other people and doesn't know what to do with them so she put em under our tree until she can give them away...but it always tricks me into thinking there is something there for us!!

That's got to be unusual - well to me, it would seem unusual - Christmas in the middle of summer. I'm trying to grasp that.. Like the 4th of July celebration, only with gifts, and a tree and all? What's it like?? Do you air-condition the house so it seems cold like winter?? Put ice around the yard?

I've found my presents before hidden in my parents wardrobe (yes I was looking) and in the back of the car. I felt too guilty to actually open them so I left it at that. Keep in mind this was years ago, I wouldn't go looking again! :D

...i always snoop one or two. i'm bad, i know. but i already recieved one of the presents i found (i wore it to an xmas party today...a nice skirt), and the other was a calendar. but my mom's really got to be more creative with the hiding places: its just a big cardboard box on the floor of her closet. she knows quite well that i know where it is, too. ah, well. we're too old to have it really matter much anymore.
